STF stands for Statesman Task force, If thats even what you were asking which I'm not sure cause your OP was alittle unclear.

I know what STF stands for

Were you doing a general search, or a Tag search? Different parts of the search form.
I have tried to use forum search to find posts with STF as a keyword. I got the following error "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
![]() Any ideas? |
And if it's a Tag search, there MIGHT be no posts tagged that.
Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
The search term is too short, so it won't return any hits. A limitation like that kind of sucks for MMORPGs where acronyms are plentiful.

Try serachin instead for "StatesTF" or "StatesmanTF" if using the general search line.
Also try doing a tag search for STF. Tags, IIRC, don't have the "min word length" bit.

Also sucks on websites where you may be searching for the movie titled "Up", or another title of similar length.
"My inner mind has become a reality-cracking overgod. He torments me! Help!"
As far as I can tell, the forums catalog whole words; and words that are three characters or less are not cataloged and, thus, unsearchable.
However, this is successful in Google: stf site:boards.cityofheroes.com
Speeding Through New DA Repeatables || Spreadsheet o' Enhancements || Zombie Skins: better skins for these forums || Guide to Guides
If that's the case though, it should tell you that the search term is too short, not return a "No matches" result. That is misleading, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a forum search engine that worked like that...
Unless, of course, it works as Zombie says. Then it is a No matches result.
