I'm looking for the slash command to keep your toon jumping, but all I can find is binds and stuff.

Anyone can help me out here ?

++up is the command. A bind isn't so bad if you want it long term, though.

/bind [insert key here with no brackets] ++up

My bind is:

/bind v ++up

I use control+J for autojump, which is ++up, and if you switch to fly while using it it will keep going up. Just tap space to get out of auto.

I have also remapped my autorun to control+R for safety. I have died many a time typing brb. R is bound "emote has accidentally hit the R key."

Both are very handy with the ninja run, though I had autojump from back in my superjump days.

I really need to consider setting that bind. That would save me some frustration.

I have a friend who binds - to shout "DUH I PRESSED MINUS." He always ends up hitting it instead of 0 when reaching for powers, and the default is to change his tray which throws him out of whack for a few seconds. So he just started binding that. Even after three years, it's still funny to be in the thick of combat and then my friend shouts "DUH I PRESSED MINUS"

Is that what does that! Grrr.

I would think that the numpadminus would be better. Or maybe they're the same.

They're not the same, and you can certainly remap it

You can also use /up 1 to autojump, and /up 0 to turn off autojump. Of course, just hitting your jump button turns off autojump, so the latter command isn't really necessary.

AFK travel and being able to talk and travel at the same time.

Every jumping character of mine gets a bind:

bind multiply "powexecname super jump$$++up$$++forward"

So with one keypress my character turns on Super Jump, starts running, and bounds into the air. All I have to do is steer; no need to keep holding down the spacebar to jump.

I use the ++up$$++forward bound to H (Hop). This was it works for the combat jump + hurdle combo for SJ lite.

Also binding SJ with the up/forward presents the problem of toggling off SJ when you tap the key again, negating the effect of SJ that greatly reduces falling damage.

Just so it makes a little more sense to you - is the previous tray while = right next to it is nexttray, I guess they put them right by the powers for fast switching between them, but I use a Saitek Cyborg Command Unit (the first one ) for CoH so my "0" powerbutton is no where near the tray flip to hit by accident anyway lol.

Use powexectoggleon instead of powexecname and you won't turn off SJ on the second tap, or ANY subsequent tap, since it is ONLY toggling on in the command. You'll just turn off up/forward. Bind powexectoggleoff Super Jump to something else, or just click SJ to toggle off when you're done.

awesome, I am adding this ASAP, I always have issues typing messages while traveling, to bad there is no way to auto teleport, or is there I guess I don't know?
