Need help on Pain dom Kickball buff toon.
You should be able to go phase/soul for powerboost root if you wanted to, you don't need to take shout. Just shriek and scream. You also don't need anguishing cry. At the speed people are being attacked int he kickballs you won't have time to land Anguishing cry anyway.
Enforced morale is nice for the +perception. Some people may not have tactics or any form of perception and also it's nice to use on the squishies to reduce those long stun durations that are getting more and more popular. If you can i would try put 2 range IO's in your heals or 1 if you use the range bonuses from the PVP sets. The extra range is very handy if you get hit by some -range. Hurricane or even taunt lol. I've seen a tank taunt the healer in order to reduce the range of his/her heals.

Those power selections are dead on with what I would take as well. Aim for +rech +hp and +kb. I offer a piece of advice, don't slot any hold procs. Even though you will rarely be attacking in an 8v8 you don't want to mess with the mez suppression of the spike. Most of the time a blaster or dom will be leading with a pbed stun and you don't want to accidentally proc before they get going and ruin a kill.
Also shortening mez duration is very underrated. You can definitely tell the difference on a squishy once the stuns come into play. Keeping em/cm on people can be huge.

based it off team builds for pain doms in arena adding in for + KB, fits in phase, powerboost for heals and buffs + stealth and stealth io.
oh ps u can slot an qf end/rn spd or springy end/jmp in sprint if you want to - sprint is an end hog - oh and I am a doofus - slot the three runs or jumps with the stealth set (forgot the stealth io set)...
My thought was to go with a lot of +regen, +hp and a bit of range. Along with kb protection and hiberphase. Feedback appreciated.

pain doms generally go with pb.
Was just tossing a build together. This one manages to hit the HP cap with something like +31% to HP. 48 KB protection with acro. 775% Regen +15% heal and 42.5% Global Rech outside of Hasten. Not cheap, but what is.

if you want to play as a team buffer you want max heal % and range on those heals. Power boost will not be up all the time - regeneration is not so much an issue. A good team player will know to run to the pain dom or therm or emp..but more often than not you're chasing a target to heal.
I need to respec my Sonic/Pain dom so I can buff in Freedom Kickball events, since I have never played a true team buffer I have some questions...
I assume both sooth and share pain should be required. Is it helpful/needed to put range in each of these heals (I imagine playing 8v8 it would be helpful on big maps). If so how many range slots.
With the changes to mez is enforced moral needed?
I plan on taking stealth+stealth IO to be at cap. I also want to take mako for hiber because the build Im working on can not fit all 3 powers to get phase. However grant invisi or invisi would give me another place for some KB protection since blessings are expensive yo. I can fit phase if I drop enforced moral and screech.
My build is not set in stone so if the player base can guide me in a better direction I would appreciate it.
