QoL: /event

Having an "/event" command would be a nice QoL feature for those that log in after the initial event alerts.

Typing "/event" would list all applicable events that are active; whether it's Zombies, Ritki, Miner Strikes, Giant monsters, etc. in the player's chat window.

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

I like it.

I like that idea. I know when I log in or zone to a diff map I would like to know on some stuff going down I might of missed.

This would certainly aid in my efforts. I love zone events, and I'm not always paying attention to the announcements.

The off-beat space pirate...Capt. Stormrider (50+3 Elec/Storm Science Corruptor)
The mysterious Djinn...Emerald Dervish (50+1 DB/DA Magic Stalker)
The psychotic inventor...Dollmaster (50 Bot/FF Tech Mastermind)

I dare someone to come up with a negative to this one that has more weight then "But I want the devs to work on myyyyy idea!"

While I am personally all for this idea, I have to take a stab at this here challenge.

Ummmm...

Hmmm, maybe... Well, the best I can come up with is that it will ruin the advantage of the ever-vigilant to be there first and solo GMs, and get to be the team leader... Or, possibly, that it will be technically infeasible.

Really, though, I don't think there is a real negative response.

it sounds to good to be true,to smart.to well thought out....the devs will squash it!out of spite because they didnt think of it first. my personal opinion. great idea! but i find what i think is great differs widely from what devs consider great.

I must politely disagree with your negative assessment of the Development team. They have implemented some of the ideas that players have come up with, so they don't squash things out of spite.

Now there have been some ideas that I thought were pretty good that haven't yet gotten off the ground, but I doubt that spite is the reason.
