What's Your Favorite Setting?
Brutes/Tanks/Scrappers: Generally +2/8
MM: +1/8 (the +2s just seem to hurt way more than they should)
Blasters/Corr: +0/4 (good mix of Lts and Minions with minimal bosses)
Controllers: +2/2 (No problem locking stuff down, with epics can push +2/4)
Defender: 0/1 (I have 1 defender Emp/Rad.. -1/1 is tempting)

+4/x8 for my brute havent changed it around for my other guys yet.
I like doing mayhems on +4/x8. It's insanely hard!
On my scraps I mostly +2/+8 it while solo.

I'm focused on my SS/WP Brute currently (+0/8), trying to finish his build and eventually have a nice redside war chest.
My DM/SD Scrapper runs at +0/8 currently, but that's getting boring. As much fun as Shield Charging mobs with impunity is, it can get old.
I haven't played my other toons much since Issue 16 dropped. I'm sure my main will do fine on his softcapped build but I haven't done much with him except Hami raids.

Also on Steam
Right now I tend to start toons off on 0/+4 or 0/+6 if I am not using my ins once in a while. I will start the creap up on the other number.

Nothing saids its your spot like an ourob. Portal dropped on the ground.
Usually +0/+8 for my fire/fire tank to maximize good drops....generally about +3 for lowbies soloing but I rarely solo
I balance the settings according to the size and make-up of the team. The more people on my team that are maxed out the higher i set the difficulty. Dying alot can kill the teams morale so i try to find balance. I run a lot of teams.
Solo on my 50's, scrapper, or tank i go with +4/1.
Lower level squishey's i go with +1/1 or +2/1.
As to why i set things backwards with +4/1 instead of +1/4 is simply that i prefer to face tougher opponents in smaller numbers. I play mainly Emps which have great versatility but not as much damage dealing so larger numbers of bad guys can alpha strike you easier than if you were a scrapper or tank.
I rarely play scrappers or tanks i find them boring (run up and aggro, stand still and strike) if i wanted hack and slash i would go play WoW or better yet Lineage 2 which has a far superior setting and beautiful characters. But when i do play them i use +4/4.
I prefer to speed through mobs and keep moving, which is still effective for getting good xp and drops but far less boring. Speed rules!
No i am not knocking anyone for wanting to tank huge mobs, most people do it. I just don't have the patience to sit still for long periods of time. There is more than one playstyle, we should respect our differences because both methods work well.
The only time i like to sit for awhile and battle is against an Arch-Villian. When you (and team) finally bring down a very tough opponent after a long battle is very satisfying.
Possibly a stupid question, but it relates to the topic, so I'll ask here instead of elsewhere:
Let's say you're set for +1/+3, and you're on a team of three, and you're doing your mission. Will the mission spawn for a team of three, no matter what the difficulty is set to, since there's three physical people on it, or will it now adjust to spawn like a team of 6?
And part two of the question: Is there an upper limit to how high the adjusted team size goes, as far as spawns? Say the mission holder is set to /+8 and the team is full, will it spawn insanely-sized mobs?
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

2nd question: the upper limit is x8.
With the new difficulty setting, what are your favorites? I still have my squishies at +0/+0 but haven't decided what is best for my tank, brute and scraper. So what are your settings and why?
