For heroes it's fire/sonic/psi /Energy blasters. Mind/emp trollers. MA/FM /regen scraps and Fire/SS Tanks.
For Vills it's just Domi's and PD's with an occasional therm chucked in and Energy/Elec/Spines /Regen or /Ninjitsu Stalkers.
That's about as much variety as you'll fine on Union anyway.

Sounds like the Euros finally caught up 
Couple years ago elec/EM blasters were all the rage over there, while here people just used fire and ice. Guess it was just a fad. Good too, since it made no sense, with fire and ice being so much better.
MA scraps are more popular than Fire/BS?
I´m not the biggest pvp´er but i have not seen a electric blaster in a zone ever.

I've been in zones for quite a few years now and i've never seen PvP'ers with Elec's..... Only the odd one coming in for a laugh.
I know an SG swore by them and went to the US to do the same concept over there but i'm pretty sure it was just that. A concept. So maybe the EU's Elec "fad" may have stemmed from that?
EU has always used Ice and Fire blasters... Even when Psi was proliferated Ice and Fire were still FotM's.

Amazingly enough though, an elec blaster was used briefly by VR, using the nuke to help spike because kills were hard to get against the better teams.

If you can recall his blasters name on Freedom it was Gatling Reborn, he was a good blaster.
I left the EU servers just before i12 to make freedom my home, at least i can get some zone and the odd duel now and then.

The primaries are usually grav and mind, (powerboosted wormhole is insta-kill, if wormhole alone isn't, too) although I did see a plant that did pretty well as well as some fire/psi's.

Yea we have the same thing really except there are very little pain corruptors (very little vills in the first place) and alot of thermals, at least 3 times more thermals than pains.

Only Rads/ i have seen is me on a rad/sonic fender and an SG member on a rad/psi.
Most people think rad is **** cause of the toggle drops.

I haven't heard of any dark/psi's though, I mean I guess they would be ok...i dont know , howling twilight COMPLETELY negates hibernate, thats pretty boss just by itself.
Dark, Cold, and Therm are probably the only sets that can really shut down a Regen these days (Rad can kind of too, but the toggle dropping might get old).

Aha... Well, there's a few rad/ corrs about and about 4 people i know of have a rad/ blaster but afaik no-one uses them because they're just not as good as sonic/psi/fire.

Alright so I hears somewhere that elec blasters were popular in RV on the Euro servers, so I have been wondering...
What are the popular toons on European servers?
On the U.S servers I see alot of fire/em, some sonic/em. Elec/therms and sonic/therms are very very popular, most serious brutes are SS/FA and most serious tanks are either fire or ice/ss. Scrappers are regen, dominaters are mind or grav/energy or elec. Stalkers are still using EM, paired with mostly nin and regen.
So? Whats the deal over there?
