    Arena Emp Build

    Fire/Emp/Primal is the best.

    Why go illusion when all you will be taking is the hold and pets?

    Fire imps are permanet (i.e not on a timer) and move alot faster for better disruption.

    In my opinion anyway.

    Basically i want to strip my Elec / Therm for something a bit more challenging / fun for duels in the arena, i have a level 50 Dark / Cold laying around and my question to you, is fully specc'd accoladed, do you think these powersets can give the more top tier arena 1 v 1 powersets a run for there money in i16?

    I understand it will take time and effort to perfect the use of this combo in duels, but ultimately would it be worth it? What i mean is even if i could play the combo expertly, i wouldnt get dicked on by a poor excuse of a Psy / Em and/or Elec/Therm?

    Thoughts?

    Managed to get a few big team fights last night on freedom (for me - not sure US time) averaging 5 - 6 members per team, was pretty fun.

    You earn accolades with hard work. Using them is fine. It's like saying to someone you won't duel them because they have a lot of experience using their toon and have spent a great deal perfecting them.     Are people so inherently afraid of death that they will do anything to survive, even though dieing has no downside except for losing all your end and most of your hp, as well as being teleported near the entrance. I dont know about you guys but it only takes me about 15 seconds to get back into battle from the hosp.

    i'd rather give the person killing me a chance for a recipe then look like a coward, afraid of something that doesn't matter.



    Overall i don't mind phase as long as it's not just preventing me from getting a recipe/rep, but being used in some offensive way that may end up being the death of me. It would be hard to not hit phase if your about to die, but if it's just going to prolong the losing fight, might as well be friendly and give the person a chance at a recipe instead of making them frustrated. I'm usually nice to people.

    Of course if you dislike the person for a good reason, or if they had a large ego and said they could kill you. By all means frustrate them and don't let them get what they want.
    I am not normally vocal on this matter, everyone to them selves and all that but frankly Sentry your posts are embarrassing, Its irrelevant if you dont like the person or not, you try to win all the time no? Its a video game for goodness sake, there is no such thing as cowardness or honour, i play in my spare time to enjoy the satisfaction of defeating/competing against another person across the world/country who enjoy's the game as much as i do, while playing to the rules the game allows, makes sense no?

    There is absolutely no benefit in creating arbitury rules in which to follow, all it will do is hinder your progression in something you enjoy.

    In the process of respeccing my Elec / Therm, and was wondering if it really is viable to drop Short Circuit for Tesla Cage slotted with end mod, had a word with Con and Musey today and it seems like it is viable, although im worried my draining capabilities will be severly hindered.

    Its just i cant stand having to close into melee and the activation time on short ciruit gives me aids, i also cant really fit in tesla and short circuit, if you wouldnt mind taking a look at my build and seeing if it would work?

    EDITED: Accidentaly put a Performance Shifter End Mod / Acc in Stamina, when its just meant to be a plain End Mod IO.

    This is not entirely true, Elec / EM Blasters were never the 'rage' on union at least. It was just the particular guy who came over from union 'Gatling' who swore by them, god only knows why, Ice and Fire were just as popular on Union as on the US servers.

    If you can recall his blasters name on Freedom it was Gatling Reborn, he was a good blaster.

    I left the EU servers just before i12 to make freedom my home, at least i can get some zone and the odd duel now and then.

This is the build i ended up going with, and am currently slotted on live, i cant for the life of me work out if charged brawl or havok punch would be better for my st attack chain, just looking at the numbers on live charged brawl seems to have a better damage per activation time, is this relevant?

    If you could be so kind as to enlighten me about which power would create the best ST attack chain taking into account my global recharge it would be very much appreciated.

  15. Hello all,

    I am looking to create the most optimum build possible for my Electric / Shield Scrapper, Influence is no object, it will serve the purpose of taking a break from my Fire / Kin farming, doing TF's and general teaming, i will respec and slot my build at 50.

    I have come up with a preliminary build, i want to keep soft cap defences but attempt to squeeze in as much +recharge as possible, i was wondering if you fine scrapper forum goers would mind taking a look and seeing what i could improve on..

  16. What i use at the moment, obviously spaces are for PvP IO's, full set of Gladiator's Strike in Havoc Punch, and three sets of 5 Panacea's (minus the Panacea: Chance for +Hit Points/Endurance - as i find it a little too expensive.)
