Having both Shiver + AA is good because you can then floor their Speed and Recharge, even with the Purple Patch present.
Oh and try to get the purple Confusion proc in AA, fun times.

In fact it's the best DPS PBAoE for Doms, and is only outclassed in DPS among all Dom AoEs by Fling Thorns.
Get to 39 so you can slot it up some.

I guess it has been a while. Do you really eat an alpha from ice's sleep? I didn't think so but then I didn't keep it in my build for long and it was quite some time ago.

I don't think anyone said that. My reference to eating an alpha was in reference to throwing down Ice Slick without a convenient corner around. Ice Slick breaks Sleep.
DarkCurrent's reference to it was that you can't stack it because it does a small amount of damage, breaking the earlier Sleep effect.
Yes it turned into a ice/ice brute thread! LOL I am still rooting for that port to redside!
Anywho I hate to say it but Ice Control is in many ways better than Grav but Grav to me feels safer. Maybe b/c Singy can tank like no ones business. Don't get me wrong I love Jack he does some crazy dmg and CAN tank but he has a glass jaw and...I would rather have Venus Fly Trap instead of him...and that's saying somethin' LOL.
