Can We Give Statesman Some Shoulderpads?

The title really says it all. Statesman looks pretty awesome, but when you stack 'em up next to Tyrant, it just looks like he could use some shoulder armor, or some gauntlets/calf armor to buff his appearance up a small bit. Some sleek, rounded, silver plates would make States look just... Dare I say... Super?

Edited to be more broad, since we apparently live in the world of DC Comics. :P

For once, I agree.

Although I'll admit, he could do with more standout gloves and boots.

Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

No, removing the glasses makes wipes that all away

Also, does he actually have room for shoulderpads with that mantle cape of his?

Fiiiiiine, I changed the title to something a bit more broad. Like the new OP says, some gauntlets, or shinguard kinda armor would be just awesome, and make him look all the more awesome.

As it stands, there's so little that distinguishes him, aside from the mask.

I just wish they'd go back and give him the cape on all the official pics of him. States has a cape, ergo he should wear it. Without it he looks...kinda fail?

And no, dont change it much. Tyrant SHOULD look more badass...he's EVIL!

Well, that's the way it should be - we're the stars, not them

Can we give the Statesman a helmet that covers his whole head?

Like a paper bag?

{I'll even settle for plastic! And I'll throw in some duct tape for free!}

I'd settle for a helmet, myself. An actual, whole helmet.

Hmm... For some reason, this reminds me of Jamie's "whole penny gun."

Could we just kill off Statesman instead? ...have Tyrant do him in once and for all? Sorry, I'm just not big on States. Something about those god-like patriotic heroes I could never get into *cough*Superman*cough*.

I'll admit he looks rather dull next to Tyrant, but his costume texture and cape mantle are exclusive to him, not to mention his mask. That's really the identity he needs. Besides, you can't have an appealing protagonist without a more appealing antagonist to keep them down. Part of what makes a real good guy interesting is the struggle.

I'll suggest a new shoulderpad style for him.
Two halves of a broken toilet seat, attached kind of like the "Rings" shoulderpad Sister Psyche wears above.

The poor man doesn't even have his entire helmet and you're sending him shopping for more armor?

Statesman doesn't need any more accessories, he has that ship he's always standing on. It's as much a part of his ensemble as Batman's car.

"Posi, to the Statesboat!"
Danna-danna danna-danna, Statesmaaaaaannnn!
