If there is one thing that should unquestionably be stolen, literally just stolen, from Champions Online it's the bug/(player side)bug-tracking system (except ironically, to fix the bugs in it).

I'm not saying the current /bug is worthless, but for myself personally every closed beta I bug one or two little simple bugs just to remind Q&A that I'm still a subscriber and then pretty much everything else goes into a forum post or a PM to a red name. The kind of stuff I focus on simply isn't able to be accomodated by the current limited /bug.

The problem isn't that I can't use /bug (I can just pm the appropriate dev) but rather that there are whole classes of bugs that take far more space to describe than /bug allows.

I strongly recommend that someone take a look at the CO bug system. Just the fact that I can see the other previously submitted bug reports before writing my own is a huge benefit.

That's an e-mail response to a petition request. Petition does not equal /bug. Try again.

Have you never heard of Kim Jong Il?
Yeah, but as I understand it that's Kim (surname) Jong (first name) Il (middle name) so not a good example.

It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba

Welcome Arbiter Kim!

We actually had to contact a GM last night about a mission entrance, that was in the middle of FF's AE bottom floor. (/bug'd it as well.) The GM completed our mish and sat there in the AE building (we assume collecting info and entering a bug as well) while we continued on with the next mission, we started wondering what would happen to a police drone if it leveled up.

So, AK, what are you looking at, scope wise? Forum issues? Things like mission entrances not displaying properly (such as the one since COV started with Seer marino, or... I forget which it was, but one /bugged during two different missions the other night, 35-40 range, where the mission indicator ended up at the lower floor desk of the AE building,) the game having issues with certain hardware/software combos, anythign that would be /bugged, other?

Anything related to the game would be within my scope. But please use /bug or Support -> Petition as the first lines of defense!

Any tech and hardware issues is still the realm of NCSoft:

Actually, it is a PERFECT example. Look again at the part of my post you quoted. Most Arbiters are named Arbiter (Surname). Kim Jong Il has a surname of Kim (which you correctly stated). So given those two piece of information, were he an Arbiter he would be Arbiter Kim. How is that not a good example?

I'm also going to ignore the fact that those were two separate pieces of a post. Separated by line breaks to indicate that they were not part of the same thought process.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.
