I would be intrested in helping when can .Tho theirs only two of us left in Watchdogs that log on regulary an i belive my friend rather likes virtue a bit better than protector these days.

As i pointed out in chat today,Going Rogue may change the sg dynamic alot.Imho groups like this an chat channels like jello shooters,Praesidium an Phantoms of War adds alot to the game. With out them its very much a lonely game much like some posters on mmorpg.com say about not seeing people in the game etc.

We were talking about the PVPEC, along with those others, as one of the reasons players did not flock in droves to Praesidium forums, channel, events. In other words - they had other things to do, PVP being only one of them.
Yeah I get what you mean, but I think it's wrong. I don't think the people attending PVPEC events had anything to do with your coalition. It would be like me blaming Hammi raids for base raiding not being popular.

You had a regular Thursday night badge thing, I have no idea whether it was related to the Praesidium.

I am? with KJSR, Work, and all my characters and sg building with in our little corner of heaven i dont think i would make a good liaison... if all it required was that i had to be in the global channel then sure why not, although honestly i have all but stopped paying attention to most of my global channels... i am still in jello shooters among others but i almost never talk or even really pay attention to the chatter going on in it.

There is no blame here. No one is blaming anybody.

The fact is that there were a lot of things going on at that time pulling players in many different directions. Because there were a lot of different organizations providing activities, need for and interest in Praesidium began to wane.

Let's move past this, please. This is NOT a PvPEC vs Praesidium thing. Not a single person is trying to blame PvPEC for killing Praesidium. No one.

Let's focus on the future, please.

In an effort to focus on the future, I love this idea if we can work in red-side. I have a large and semi-active SG redside (Hellstorm) and would love to help in any way I can. I often times find my toons, SG and often Coalition members looking for TF or badges or base-design help. Having been active in BBI and various events I would love the opportunity to work with some of the JS that are equally as active to put together some more "organized" events, teams and TF's. Please just holler at me and let me know how I can assist.

That's a different way of "getting" it then what I was aiming for by explaining it again, so we'll just end that here and move on.

No worries.

I'll take your word for it. I really have no recollection of this.

Again, apologies if you felt slighted by that.

I would support it reforming. I'll mention this forum post to my SG Leaders when I see them on.

I know we've all been enjoying the double xp goodness...

....once things settle back down, I'd suggest a meeting of interested parties to start working on the bigger picture.

I would gladly throw my little one person SG into the mix, if you would have me. I will speak to the remaining members of the Crowe's to see if that SG would be interested as well(I don't lead it). If a time comes that there is some sort of a villain side Praesidium being considered, you can count on the Dark Knights of the Abyss(Me, basically) being there to support it.

Having discussed this with the other leaders, the Teamsters are bowing out.

A little-remembered fact is that Praesidium basically started the New Player Welcome Night.
No, actually, the Praesidium DIDN'T start NWPN. I and an ex-player started it with one single event. It began with a rant on the boards about how crappy some 50 players were treating new players in Atlas and grew from there. I'm sorry to say I can't remember that players full forum name, but was star-something. And they left since that time.

Stalemate and the Praesidium took it up after that first initial event.

I applaud the Praesidium and wish y'all luck in reviving it!

I would like to see this revived as well.

You pay to play. Having fun is ok. Kill Skuls or kill Crey. Hunt at night or in the day. Black or white or shades of grey. Play it your way. We have no say.

Well, I don't remember that initial event. My apologies. The first I ever heard of it was after I'd joined the Praesidium and Stalemate was talking to us about it.

I never saw or heard of the initial run, though I was involved with a pretty insular group back then. Sorry for my mistake.

Speaking of which, Stalemate, we need to pass off NPWN funds and recipes at your convenience.

PM sent.

And yeah - the New Player Welcoming Night was something the Praesidium supported through "financing" and running events for it starting at the 2nd edition.

I stayed involved with it from that point on except for one edition where the timing (and my own mood) weren't optimal.

Nostalgia: I think that besides NPWN and Herolympics, my favorite events were that scavenger hunt a player from another server was promoting and agreed to organize through the Praesidium for Protectorites, and the Recluse Victory raids.
