i got my rare last night, and giggled like a little school girl as i went through a mission at x8 and mowed the entire map down.

yeah some of the tf's really took alot of longer then they should have.. but i was weary and alot of these were pugs. which really just made me a glutton for punishment.

i went in and made a list..

i should be able to create my rare on my scrapper the first day i do a Weekly Strike Target... the Very Rare a significant time later.

all in all looks like my scrapper wont have much trouble.

last year I did my favorite thing I have ever done during a double xp weekend and that was going through every single blueside tf in one weekend. It was insane and it got a character from lvl 15 all the way to lvl 50 in one weekend. part of me wanted to do this again but i just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I started earlier this month trying to come up with a scheme for this double xp weekend. a repeat of the tf insanity? nah been done. every single tf in entire game? nah honestly even without sleep wont have enough time. every single ss tf? maybe but not room to get some lower levels i want to play..

so here it is double xp weekend and i dont have a plan for my sleepless insanity.. so i have added randomness into the plan

I have a total of at least 15 characters(i think i will check the number when i get home) that are not level 50. I am instituting the random number generator and i will pick a toon at random. at that point i will get the list of all TF's they are in level range for (for those that have multiple) and then choose one at random.

after that TF is done I will rinse repeat with new random numbers for a random toon.

so if you need a tf to do i will be broadcasting in all the regular channels as i do nonstop taskforces as much as i can this weekend with the current pick(with the exception of when i am working)

does mod 5 have a posting account that is visible in the community digest? i dont think i have ever seen him post... maybe it would be a good idea with all the people leaving that we make sure that the dev\community digest is up to date. im prety sure its not.

much more likely scenario is that with i-20 being as massive as it appears like it will be i think they are all barely getting any sleep crunching numbers, writing code, fixing bugs and giving us something so epic awesome that we will fall in love with this game again and again and again.

i am going to make yet another i-20 hyptohesis... (with a 99% assurance rate of being wrong)
i-20 will not only include some really cool praetorian end game content, but also mid level content .....

We are at our best when our debt is capped and we keep pushing forward till the end.

So about the time Going Rogue came out, I moved out of my old place and moved into my new house... I started playing less and less of the game and have pretty much disappeared. I got busy at work, and getting situated at my new house and just didn't have time for the game anymore.

This week has marked me coming back to the game with a fury. I miss this game. I miss this community. While I guess I needed the short break I am happy to be back. I have been paying for the game, and I haven't been playing with the exception of once a month doing the day-job shuffle.

So here I am. I am back. I will never leave you again. I promise for reals this time.

the more i think about this and i realize that dragon*con is prolly out due to dates and conlfictions with other cons, I think Gen con is the right choice. I fully remove any support i previously had for dragon*con and cast my vote for GenCon indy.

It saddens me as i read the posts suggesting they attend dragon-con that i realize that pax west and dragon-con are essentally the same dates, making that highly unlikely..

if your leaning towards the east coast for the 5th event, and since you have already done the northeast, I can think of no better event then DragonCon in atlanta.

I was planning on going to hero-con this year but if you go to DragonCon that would be the best!

it is so wrong that i almost guarentee that somone just grabbed that toon name.

i actually popped out my droid at the end of the movie and captured the after credits scene on my cell phone... now im just waiting for the MPAA to come knocking on my door
