Yeah. Prior to the SSK system there was really no way to do this. Seeing as how you had level requirements for Hazard Zones. So I just SK'd him to my 50 blaster, ran around and grabbed 100 Overseers and boom goes the dynamite. While I was there I grabbed him a jet pack, and have really been enjoying it.

Technically there was. There was a guy on Champion who had an old mission from way back, that got hit with a bug during some patch or other, that replaced the mission's enemies with Rularuu. Every once in a while he'd run an eyeball farm so lowbies could unlock the weapons.
So yeah, if you knew someone who had a mission like that you could get the weapons at level 2.

Yeah, I just did this too, but for my level 16 Scrapper. You get lots of compliments when running as a lowbie with this sword. Too bad you can't unlock Talsorian early 
I did this over the weekend with my lvl 29 DB/ela scrapper and helped the friend who helped me get it on his lvl 17 claws/ela. The coolness of being able to get those weapons early deffently beats out being able to get the red cap daggers early.

Grin! That is impressive.
A few days ago, without prior planning to do it, I got the Atlas Medallion on my level 2 Archery/Ice Blaster. My better half was on his level 50 Mind/Kin controller hunting down the badges he had missed...I came out of Outbreak feeling punky, and asked him if he needed some damage to kill things.
"Err, you do realize I am a level 50, and you are a level 2???" said he
"A twirpy controller" laughed I
Somehow we ended up in Striga with all the Vamps and Puppies.
It was lots of fun. I hate being speed boosted, and he kept me perma speed boosted.
After lots of shrieks, and bragging, and lots, and lots, of laughs, I got both badges.
He dug about in his list of characters and found one who had the Fortune Teller mission contact. He got the mission, invited meee to it, and, bingo, Atlas Medallion on a level 2 
I too love this new sidekicking method . . . lots and lots

Nope. The ones that have plaques in the higher level hazard zones are restricted to the old entry level of that zone. You can still read the plaque but you won't get credit until you reach that level. So that pretty much rules out all of them but eye of magus and conspiracy theorist since they don't need history plaques. Also atlas since the hazard zone with the plaque is a low level one.
