Hey when you get that new #2 pencil LJ I know what you could do to break it in...

Great job combining those two pieces and I'm sure Starwind and SW junior will love them.

I could use a "Painter X pencil..." I do sketch with those...
I blew it on this one, ended up spending more like 20-30 minutes but I thought I'd post it anyway.

And yeah BW that is a nice piece (your stuff is always great to look at) especially for it only being 20- 30 minutes...
honestly though I'm really interested in seeing what you could come up with in 5-ish minutes using just
a pencil (Eddy and LJ too, heck even the Foo)... in any category really, I just updated the list,
pick one and give it a whirl.
Oh and remember to pick a new category for the next person/persons to keep it going.

, But I was just trying to make sure FD knew the score I do intend on sketching something for this soon, it just takes alot longer to do something manually (I'm out of paper aswell
), and then there is the hassle of getting it onto the computer, that has kept me out of here.
Maybe if you Aussies planted some trees in that outback nonsense you wouldn't have such a paper famine! We could even teach you how to get the lead inside the wood to make pencils...

I wish I saw this sooner, I have been itching to draw something CoH related but overloaded on ideas... That and I just re-found the art section.
Also, I am sorry if I am breaking the rules... since they were broken already but trying to find the most updated list and who said what was kinda hard after 6 pages. So, I'll post the themes in bold

I pictured this guy singing more then whistling to the song "If I only had a brain" from the movie "Wizard of Oz", but I thought that was too evil and left those words out.
Catgirls
I've based her off of one of my Villains; short and voluptuous to the boot... unfortunately my mind's perspectives and proportions are arguing (and still are) when I was setting up her pose. So I feel the legs are a tad too short despite she is suppose to be leaning against a wall.
I'll keep on gleaning this thread for more themes and post more later.

Welcome aboard the Hot Pencil Midnight Panther.
Great stuff so far and you can actually pick another category if you would like (can pick a new category for every sketch).
Also there is a recent list of all the categories and how many times each has been done at post #127 (#'s in the upper right
corner of each post). The rules are all in the first post of the thread if you are curious, yeah they've all been broken
(we are pretty much down to, be fast, use a pencil, choose a new category to pass down and have fun! ).
P.S. One thing I've found that makes the new forums more livable is the ability to make the threads all one loooong page
in the options menu (I hate hitting next page all the darn time) and that way you can just scroll down with your mouse
wheel (or the scroll bar) and use ctrl+f to find and jump to anyones post you are looking for although some jump out
(mine are always orange and VeXxa's are always purple for example) pretty easily already.

The "who offered what" conundrum is best solved by the "put the whole thread as one page" option that way you
can just spin the mouse and in a matter of seconds find the posts with images... those with images will be
the ones where people post a new category. But yeah I've just taken to quoting from the list and
periodically (every 4-6 sketches) updating it to make things more convenient for others.

((P.S. Probably because my mom was oblivious, my father had a sense of humor and I created that
"modified version" of my awesome avatar for special occasions like International Talk Like a Pirate Day
and Halloween... it be Captain Orange Beard Yaaaarrr
))P.P.S. If I might make one more suggestion... it might be easier if you picked more generalized categories.
Like I was going to pick Positron but instead went with Freedom Phalanx leaving more stuff open for people to choose from.
So say instead of "Trick or treating costume contest" just "Halloween Event" which would include the CC's but also
anything else going on like what pops out of the doors or temp costumes etc. etc.
Or instead of "Ghost of Scrapyard" (not sure I even know what that is?) just Scrapyard (is that a redside zone maybe?).
Speaking of updating the list of categories...
