So very true.

I love a team that says stuff like: "Wow, that was fast... wonder if I can beat you back from the hospital." Makes me happy not everyone thinks that death means you have a bad team.

But your positive reaction to a lvl 50 helping out in the sewers is adding confusion to my brain. Just last week I saw someone complaining on these boards about that very thing. It was a "leave us alone! We don't need your high and mighty help!".

I regularly go on "buff patrol" to help out in pre-14 areas but had been worried I was just p*ssing people off. I guess you just can't please everyone and will make someone mad no matter what you do.
There's a difference between a 50 who shows up out of the blue to "help" and someone willing to join the team and exemp down. Some people may like the assistance from above/behind/beyond but my feeling is this:

Even as a lowbie, when I'm playing I want to play, not be hand held. There's a reason heals aren't as big and cool buffs aren't available at the low levels when those sewer foes are a challenge. They make it trivial. Trivial is boring.

Feel free to pitch in, join the team, and help out, but don't be surprised when people take the "help" the wrong way if you're buffing from outside the team.

True and true.

I teamed with a tanker on a TF who had all his seconday attacks and very few of his primary shields. It led to some private snickering but the team didn't suffer for it.

With debt being so negligible I am always surprised at the hostility some people have towards dying in the game. But that may just be my inner scrapper talking.

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Nothing brings a team together like that moment when everyone's making floor angels together, Nemesis and his guys are walking on our heads, and somebody says, "Me Grimlock need new strategy."
