I love the game in general. I hate WoW (sorry folks). CoH is my fave online game. I have played Conan the Barbarian, Star Wars, and WoW. I just hate WoW. Its dumb(my personal opinion).

Grammar nitpick (only because this is a common error everyone makes): "Its", without an apostrophe, is the possessive form of "it". Its chair, its house, its word. "It's", with an apostrophe, is the contraction for "it is". It's dumb, it's hot, it's weird.
Most people don't care, but there are times when it can cause confusion.
Only thing i miss about farms is they were a good pick me up every now and then when i got flat out sick and tired of "go into a warehouse, kill some guys, do it fifty times and level once."
I mean the default content is already almost as repetitive as a farm, just incredibly slower.
I'm glad they nerfed it, cause it was crazily imbalanced, but it was good every now and then when i was getting impatient to hit a certain level or something.
Ok, here are the two reasons why I have "No AE" in all of my characters' search comments. One is IC, one is OOC.
The IC one is suspicion. Call it paranoia if you will; paranoids live longer in the Rogue Isles. Where is Architect Entertainment getting its funding and why?
You have big, shiny, new buildings full of the latest technology, staffed by technicians 24/7, giving away piles of reward loot...and no apparent means of generating the income to pay for it. That means someone is spending a lot of money in exchange for...what?
I'll tell you what: a "scan" of every big-time villain who comes in to use their facilities. Thanks, but I think I'll keep my "scan" to myself. Let whoever is paying AE's bills be surprised if and when they come looking for me.
The OOC reason is merely that I don't want a bunch of AE badges that might cause me to be mistaken for some power-leveled incompetent who received all his "training" -- doing who knows what -- inside a nice, safe computer. (I guess that's sort of an IC reason, too.)

Look, ninety percent of everything is crap. That includes AE arcs. Ninety percent of the random arcs out there make the Positron TF look entertaining and well balanced. Ninety percent of what your fellow man has wrought is so abysmal that it's beyond fixing, beyond commentary - you just want it to stop.
That's what you'd see if they removed all the farms; they're the rug that all the dirt has been swept under. If they go through and do some sort of mass purge for farm arcs, it'll just be a different complaint.
