WoC and more Dmg from F/K/Psi

So tonight i got to thinking with 2 Dmg Aura's and Psi Nado, could i drop Tough and Weave and pick up WoC and push out more dmg then with a Tough and Weave picked up and slotted.

I would post a build but im interested in what others can come up with.

In case your wondering Flashfire should be up every mob and last long enuff to wipe out a mob. That is the current case i have and i would like to keep it that way thus on my current F/K build i dont get hit often enuff to warrent Tough/Weave and im looking for an alternative either more Dmg or some other form of dmg Mitigration.

WoC ticks every 4 seconds. Not worth it in my opinion.

ok..... So what other form of Dmg or something besides Tough and Weave should be taken in order to increase dmg overall besides an aura that can be toggled on and left to tick dmg with some procs in it?

I think World of Confusion is the only aura that does damage in the Controller APP sets. Lots of folks with Fire/Kins are lately going with the Earth APP, as Fissure recharges fairly quickly, doing damage, knockdown and occasional stun to stack with Flashfire; Seismic Smash is great single target damage (plus a hold); and the armor is Smashing and Lethal defense-based. Plus you get a huge heal/HP boost in Earth's Embrace. Between the armor and the heal, you should be able to make up for Tough and Weave.

Anyone tried out WoC for trollers? I'm considering it for my Fire/Rad, just to make a juicy cocktail of PBAoE goodness with Hootfeet and CC.

However its missing Tough and Weave so its got some survivability issues but with FF up enuff that shouldnt be an issue and with WoC+HF+FireCages+Psi Nado im hopein i can push my dmg to above par. But haveing everyone else come in and say Psi sucks go earth is kinda disheartining anyways but o well to each thier own.... Will have to try my build out then get back to ya on how it rolls.

You could always try it out on your secondary build just to test drive it/not waste a respec.

Hotfeet, Chocking Cloud, and World of Confusion makes for some fun times. I wouldn't count on it just for damage, however. It's a bit to random from my experience.

So far with a 3 respecs down ive pulled my purples from my old build made some modifications to the 1 i posted earlyer and im able to pull 25 dmg from hotfeet and another 11 from WoC. Hotfeet im not sure on the tick count but WoC is tickin every 4 seconds for dmg. However my first assupmtion that my survivall rate would decrease was just that an assupmtion. Now haveing ran a few farms, a MoITF, a MoSTF and a few others my survivall rate seems to be better then with tough and weave, for the simple fact that WoC provides a nice confuse to minions and i think LT's can be confused as well. So i would absolutly recomend that if your a F/K/Psi try and fit in WoC and Psi nado if possible. Not only does it increase your damage output it also increases your survivability in the long run overall.

I have it on my fire/kin/psi, added it on day 1 of i16. I've left it off most of the time, because I'd rather them attacking me than eachother, but it's worth it for the purple set and 5% ranged defense.

ehh i would rather spend the cash on a Oblit Quad a Scirocco's Trip and a Multi Strike Trip and push the dmg of it up a bit instead of tryin to confuse the mob. But the confuse does help in the suvivability and with FF even if something gets confused it wont be able to attack since its stunned anyways.

I was more interested in WoC as addtional mitigation, but if the confuse is effective enough it might actually make you a MORE efficient killing (er, arresting) machine, from an influence/xp per hour perspective. For a small trade in xp/influence, you benefit from the damage inflicted from confused enemies. Not to mention the secondary effects of confused enemy attacks, which won't cost you anything.

That is, of course, if the confuse is effective. I seem to remember the blaster version requires some slotting just to get the ticks to overlap.

Psi Epic is better IMO than stone....

You get a nice resistance/defence to Mezzes (which can be made near perma), which will also take a LotG +7.5% recharge.

A Resistance to Psionic/Smash/Lethal

An Targeted AoE which can have the +Chance to recharge slotted. Does smashing and Psionic damage, the Psionic is of course less resisted than most other damage types.

Plus a confuse which even if you don't plan on using it will take a fairly cheap purple set for the bonuses.

And the key for me it doesn't look like I've wading through the sewers for my entire career.

Tried Stone, loved Fissure loathed the armour and didn't see much use for the rest.
