When an appendage is occluded by the body, it's good to show at least part of it, otherwise, the subject looks like an amputee.
A left hand would suffice. Ideally, an elbow as well.

I can't believe how well this one has gone down so cheers!I had her left hand holding a gun at one point but erased it, too boring I thought. You let me know what she should be doing (nothing naughty Sapphic) and what the background should be and I'll do it, the winner gets a free pic
I'd say the hand should either be resting on the hip or holding said gun against her leg... perhaps half hidden as an implied threat rather than pointing it right at someone? Half hidden may not be able to do easily and still be obvious as a gun though... Or maybe so? What do I know? But mainly my suggestion would not do anything too fancy with the arm or it would throw off the balance of the pic...
As for the background of the pic, personally I would say have it influenced by her backstory or such if she has one. Perhaps going with the church theme there could be some stained glass windows behind her? If you are coloring I think you could do those in a light enough shade that you get what they are but such that it's still the character which really pops out at ya.

Don't know if she has any powers or anything, but she could be holding a curved blade backhanded. Or if she has some energy/fire/something she could have her fist clenched and glowing with power.

From her stance, the only thing I can see being natural is having her arm come out straight along the same line as the leg there, which, with the cross zipper pull, puts me in the mind of her having turned to face some sound/person after lighting a candle in a prayer candle rack, one of these things, match still in hand.
