I'm LFT for this event. I have a smattering of pvpable toons, but the best bets are probably my psi/em blaster, my emp/ defender, or my mind/elec dominator.

Perhaps you are under the wrong assumption. CK not only donates her time to run these events, she is also donating her influence/infamy. While I was not at her last event, I know that I have made some last minute changes to rules or added in some rules due to people trying to 'game the system'.
Remember all, these events are for fun, CK is doing an awesome service to the server by volunteering to run these events for everyone. I know I appreciate the effort she is putting forth.
I was vent with Bud who attend the event and actually i was in it.. but I was wacthing the matches. I just stated a statement which she took defense too. Well any how enough with the drama.. I hope for a good turn out.

If DXP was going on this weekend, I'm pretty sure there'd be a thread in the announcement section of the boards.

Being that was the reason they are giving us an extra DXP weekend, that makes sense. I couldn't get a direct "no" to it being this weekend, but a pretty good hint that it wouldn't be. Sooo with that being said we will continue with the schedule until something official is announced. If it does happen to be this weekend then I will reschedule it again.

Due to the stability issues that occurred with the North American servers this past Double XP Weekend, we plan to offer another Double XP Weekend in North America after Issue 16 launches.

When: Saturday September 26, 2009
Time: 1030 pm EST
Where: Pocket D
Prizes:
1st place team -- 30 million influence per member
2nd place team -- 15 million influence per member
3rd place team -- 5 million influence per member
- Tier 1 inspirations
- Heal Decay off
- DR on
- TS Off
- Hero & Villain mixed teams are allowed.
- No map resets
- If teams can agree on a map they may select it. IF not random it is.
- No toon switching. Once you are there and have checked your team in, you are stuck on whatever toon you brought.
- Sudden Deaths do not count.
- Reset for 1 dc per team for the entire event. DC must occur within the first minute of the match.
- Match length of time tbd at event.
Come with your own team or I will pair up PUG's. Use this thread if solo LFT.I will decide the elimination strategy at the event based on how many teams we have to make it competitive yet not too long of an event.
**I had stated after my last event that I would not be running arena tourney events any more because of a couple peoples inability to show good sportsmanship and be drama-free. NO drama will be tolerated. If running events can't be fun then that is a problem to me. Only attend if you are there to compete fairly and have a good time.
