Prestige levels
Then what good are "prestige levels"? All it does is make you play your character for a little bit longer before making a new one.

The Devs have hinted that they want to create a system where characters can advance beyond level 50 without attaining new levels. How this will work, we're not really sure. However, we have been told that it will be highly unlikely to involve new slots for powers or new powers.
We might get 'global' enhancement slots, or something along those lines, but we don't really know.

If they were as hard to attain as I said, it would be ... a lot longer. Maybe on the order of 100-300 hours to get to lvl 50 (without farming) and 1200-1500 hours to get to lvl 50+10
Hmm... looks like I dreamt this... maybe someone should move this over to the suggestions forum

The official name used was "Universal Enhancement Slots".

The current theory is that the new salvage showing up in WW and the BM are for crafting these Universal Enhancements, and that they will be a part of Going Rogue, since the flavor text on some of the salvage references Praetoria.
My guess would be that "Universal Enhancements" would function like set bonuses; each one grants a global bonus, rather than enhancing a specific power.

Magenta, Fuchia, or Taupe, maybe. :-) j/k
I hope they have purples, or the equivalent.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Ok, somewhere I got the impression that I have heard this idea:
After lvl 50, there will be 10 prestige levels. So a toon will be 50+0, 50+1 etc up to 50+10.
The toons will still fight as lvl 50s and every prestige level will be very hard to attain (on the order of that each of them costs as much xp as becoming lvl 50 costs) and each prestige level will only grant one extra slot to an existing power.
This might have been something I dreamt, heard rumoured, read a suggestion or anything.
But I still want to check if anyone else knows anything about this?
I tend to abandon my 50s after they stop earning xp, so something like this, even a little xp reward working towards something, would greatly motivate me to play them again (for other uses than farming).
If this is untrue and nobody ever heard of this, I just made a fool of myself. (Feel free to quote this sentence and write "this" in your post :-) )
