Here's my new proposed build for JoJo the Bunny, my SS/Elec Brute. I use him for general play and pretty much do everything. I have the mez thingers because I tend to get a lot of baddies shooting at me and that's pretty much their only chance. I dropped Power Sink and Power Surge because I don't need them anymore. I have taunt to ensure holding aggro on RSF runs (had issues without it). I don't really care about travel powers.

Ludicrous Numbers:
Old JoJo: 158.75% Recharge + FF:Recharge in Foot Stomp and Haymaker
New JoJo: 165% Recharge + FF: Recharge in Foot Stomp

Old: 2074 Hit Points
New: 2119

Old: 23.57 Hit Points Regen per second.
New: 46.4 Hit Points Regen per second + Panacea Proc

Old: Roughly 8% Defense all + Darkest Night
New: 18% Melee, 14.5% other + Darkest Night

Old: Power Surge, Power Sink and Super Speed
New: Energize, 33 Second Recharge and 30 Second duration (pre FF:Proc), 858 HP Heal; 60% Endurance Reduction to all powers. Combat Jumping and Taunt.

My elec/elec brute can’t wait for the new change as well. Mine currently all IO’d out as well with all the good unique and the 3 PVP good uniques as well. Instead of going for recharge I went with more defense, regen, hit points. Sitting at 31 melee, 9 range and 12 AOE. This helped out a lot; in fact I have had so many people comment on how much my electric brute can survive.

The only question I have is why drop power sink. That is a great power not just for plus end, it is great for grabbing agro and draining end. I am able to drain almost anything in the game after a few applications (it may be that I’m electric melee as well and that helps).

I can see that you wanted combat jumping for a luck of the gambler. I just can’t see dropping power sink for some extra recharge when you have so much already. I may change out end mod set for power sink and slot with taunt sets instead for some good bonus.

I rarely use Power Sink now. I can kill things with Foot Stomp as fast as I can drain it. So... I choose kill. I've been thinking of other things instead of CJ but I like the little extra defense, little extra recharge and little extra movement.

At the highest levels of optimization, builds seem to converge on a point that strips away whatever made the component powersets unique, in favor of passive mitigation (usually through defense bonuses) and maximum DPS. I understand why, but it seems vaguely depressing to me that you get the best results by ignoring the unique tools in a powerset.

It's true. I've seen the Bunny as played by the Smurphy.

We both hate a +4 Teleport Arrow backed by Vengence. Lots and lots of vengence.

I don't follow, you still get to keep all of the secondary effects that electricity has, you're just maximizing it's strengths and minimizing it's weaknesses. How is losing its uniqueness? You still keep your resistance, while adding defense on to it?
