+Perception enemies

Anyone know just how much perception Rikti Drones have? Trying to figure out if it's possible to push my stealth past their threshold. Likewise, what all other enemies have perception buffs?

Using the Temp Power: Power Analyzer mk III, I found Rikti drones to still have the standard 45ft radius. It's possible they simply ignore your stealth completely and simply see you anytime you come within that 45ft distance anyway. I am not sure anybody has found a way to make them 100% ignore you.

Other "+perception foes" that come to mind would be the Overseers (the giant eyeballs from the Shadow Shard). I'm pretty sure many others can have increased perception to some degree, but they wont completely ignore your stealth like these would.

Having just finished running a stalker to 50, I was pleasantly surprised that pretty much the only enemies with perception buffs are Rikti drones, KoA and snipers.

...I forgot what experience means.

The ghosts have a form of Invisibility, and their powers have a -ACC, but I don't think they have any sort of +perception.

The alarms in side missions are not really foes you can defeat or hide from. That's more of a positional detection mechanic which triggers an event (ambush). Just like any other positional mechanic (some boss cutscenes like Rom in ITF), they will trigger based on your position, regardless of your current state. Being invisible or phased will not prevent them from triggering. Phase might work on the alarms by design, but I'd have to test to be sure.

well since they see my stalkers through hide+stealth+ss+stealth io I would say perception is pretty much capped on the drones now what is the cap thats math and that hurts

Rikti Drones and Rularuu Sentries (the eyeballs) ignore Stealth completely, but they do not have any form of +per buff. Enemies with +per will aggro from a longer distance, in addition to seeing through stealth; neither Rikti Drones nor Rularuu Sentries aggro from an extra long distance, but they will always aggro at the same range, regardless of your stealth level.

Incorrect. A Stalker can dance under the alarm triggers all day without spawning an ambush. I'm not sure what perception they have, but I know that Hide is enough to slip past them completely undetected. What becomes a problem is that there are often triggers passing over you while you click a glowy, during which time your stealth is suppressed.

As for enemies which do have +per, off the top of my head:
- KoA
- Some Longbow and PPD have Tactics
- Vanguard Sword
- Snipers, Turrets, and GMs (inherently higher perception)

This is probably why I thought that they went off anyway. I admit I'm not thinking clearly tonight. lol

I only have one stalker, and I don't know how many of these I even did with her. Everybody else I have used pretty much sets them off anyway (I haven't tried with Ill's Superior Invisibility).

On a side note, they are easy to avoid anyway. Even while clicking, you can usually just hug the wall against the "glowy" to stay off the alarm's path.

Are you sure the KoA have +Perception? I thought they had cheat-perception like the drones. Or did they originally have that, then get changed to regular +Perception?

Anyway - I recall hearing that originally, Drones where set to ignore stealth due to an issue with not being able to ignore stealth nicely or something, but I cannot recall where I heard that.

Hmm, now you're making me doubt myself. I just checked the Knives_of_Artemis_Inherent powerset on CoD, and there wasn't anything there with +per. I don't see anything in their individual sets that give it, either, so you may be right.

i was recently fighting them with a Defender and they seemed to aggro at the same distance regardless of whether i was using Shadow Fall, SF+stealth IO and no stealth at all, so i think the ignore stealth approach was used on them as well.

Mildly annoying.
