Why do I feel like one of those parents who go on a trip and they leave their kids with relatives?

I don't think my ever had separation-anxiety.

Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.

Looks like an awesome time so far! How was the sushi, or has that happened yet?

Picture 4 and Picture 5

The frog's legs were a little too spicy for me.

Ok here are my photos.

Ny's SG base.

No I was not on the "executive suite floors" I was segregated to the 8th floor! Now I know how Leonardo DiCaprio felt in Titantic.

Hummm looks like Ny's base is somewhere in the Hollows.

Well; I see a freeway, so I must have a base teleporter to Skyway.

Welcome to Hero-Con 2009

Hero-Con 2009 LAN Room

Rasta doing Irish car bombs part 1

Suck it down green boy!

That was one hell of a tier 3 insperation!

StormVyxen and Nomme

Are you sure this is how Fallout is suppose to work?
Rasta looks happy to see Ny.

Ny, they are called "boobs!"
Rasta, Vyx, Ny,
Great now everyone is going to roll up a Rad/Rad Defender
Sooner, Rasta, Vyx and Nomme

Ny shows off his forum avatar pose.

Sooner and Texas Justice go at it.

Protector FTW!
(froml-r) Vorac, M I Abrhams, Janlee, Rastafari_Man, Sooner, Impyre, StormVyxen, Nomme, Gorbified, and Nylonus getting a rez.
I think Rasta just likes to handle me.

Ticket to Hero-Con $89. Seeing Nomme and StormVyxen eat cherries over Jan. . .Priceless!

StormVyxen shows off her character art by David Nakayama

HEY! Red_Valkyrja also got a David Nakayama character print.

Another group shot.
back row: M I Abrahms, Janlee, ,StormVyxen, Sooner, Rasta.
front row: Vorac, Nylonus (Plow Boy), Red_Valkyrja, Nomme, and Gorbified.

Rasta hanging with The Ocho.

Had a great time at the dinner sitting with "The Guardians of the Golden Age" super-group. We also had developer Vince D'Amelio "Dark Watcher" sitting at our table for the dinner.

Protectorites who I did see at the con but did not get photos of:
FatBaby
FreckledAvenger

Didn't get a chance to see SlimPickens. (Silm I did see that you got to sign the attendies poster board.)

Had a great time meeting everyone from our sever and other servers.

I was going to put my awesomely cool "Going Rogue" stickers on my little netbook, but my little netbook is smaller than the sticker is tall.

Awesome!

Things I learned about my fellow Protectorites at Herocon:

Vorac pretty much always has a can of beer in hand.

Sillver is a very cool chick and I wish she'd chat with us more.

MI Abrahms is terrifying when he starts channeling Thin Line (his stalker).

Janlee gets happy when kittens meow.

....oh! And the DoubleTree hotel in San Jose has a ghost cat on the 10th floor.

Oh.. and.. as an honorary Protectorite: Froggy's make up get's smeared. *nodnod*

Nomme and Kidengineer have cool cats.

Something I already knew.. but bears mentioning again... Rasta is a very big guy!

...I should have more... but these are what comes to mind immediately.

But they were cats, not kittens.

It was more fun when Trouble shoved his head into my shoe though.

And just because I can't leave a bad situation alone when I could easily make it worse, the only time I actually 'channeled' TL was during the mission with Crimson. Everything else was just me.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

He did last year too - though this year he paced himself on consumption speed.

I'm going to just agree here with huge *nodnods* to both

Yes, he does - he gets downright giggly at cat meow sounds...

How did I miss this? Did I not miss it and just forgot? If so, how did I forget such a thing??? (I feel slighted here...)

Just going to nod and agree But - glad he made it out again this year.

We tend to think so, but awesome to have validation on this point *grins* And yes, the ultimate in 'cool' was Trouble's look of "What, I'm not doin' anything wrong here" when we laughed at her for trying to fit her entire front half into Janlee's shoes - then looking around all lost and forlorn once he'd left (taking his shoes with him and away from her). What? I have an interesting definition of 'cool' when my cats are involved.

Yes, yes he is - the comment when looking for him at the airport - "He shouldn't be hard to miss - big, tall, long-haired, hippy with (likely) chalk-white skin"

Not even a remark about Ny...though I think the pics speak for themselves

It was great seeing everyone - some seeing them again, others for the first time, it was great and I look forward to next year!

I saw it three times. A dark cat zipping along the balconies of the 10th floor. The first time I was aware of it... it mewed enroute.

I have no idea where it was going or what it was doing.
