Doesn't the DoubleTree have a shuttle to and from the San Jose airport? I think I saw they did on their site.

Well I think we need to determine, if we are doing the sushi thing again this year. And if we are, should we make it a sort of "offical" Protector thing? Also if this will be the case, we should totally plan it so we can drag the most people possible.

Nomme and Kid were picking up Rasta from the airport as I had already arrived the day before, so we met up at a place in-between SF and SJ.
I don't remember the name of the place, as I was a little trepidatious about meeting Nomme/Kid face-to-face but having already met Rasta it was easier.
Plus, it was the first time I had ever had sushi.
We met up after Rasta got in, which made it about 1:00 PM California time.

Multi-destination FTW. I will hit 6 different airports during my trip.
From Akron to Chicago, Chicago to San Fran on my way out
From San Jose to Minneapolis, Minneapolis to Pittsburgh on my way back.
And I'm dude to arrive at a nice 11:14am Friday. Well in time for any lunch gatherings.

I last year we had 2 tables. . . One with mostly people from the fourms and Jello Shooters, the other table was listed as Protector and made up players just in awe of Jello Shooters table.
Seeing how most banquet tables can seat 8 people, we should have no problem filling up 2 or more this year.

Given that people are still flying into SJC at 11:30ish, I suggest we make the reservation for 1pm or 1:30pm to give people some breathing room while still have enough time to eat. It's always possible I could pull a last-minute trip out. But I'd have to have an absolute butt-ton of my consultancy money come in from clients in the next week or two.
If this happens, I'd be able to afford the extortionate airline prices to get out there. Pulling a room at the hotel might be tougher though (not from a monetary standpoint).
