Are the forums really laggy for others too today?

Is it just me? It is taking like 2 minutes to load a page or a post. Other websites seem to load fine, is there a way to fix it if it is on my end?

Same here as well.

It's seemed to me that the forums have been considerably less responsive ever since the changeover; it was pretty rare for it to take longer than 2-3 seconds to view a forum or thread on the old software... now a fast response is close to 10 seconds and it's not at all uncommon for it to take 30 seconds or more.

Obviously there's something going on; I've seen the dev comments that the new system is faster but I frankly haven't been seeing it and the response times have been getting worse over the last couple of weeks.

*shrug* It wasn't working for a moment there, but now it's working just as fast as it always has. Which is, at least in my experiences, *much* faster than the old forums.

It's been pretty slow for me this morning as well. Hanging up on loading... even logged me out twice.... once not even 30 seconds after I re-logged in.

I've been doing the "just in case" ctrl+a, ctrl+c maneuver for my posts.

Yes, it's EXTREMELY slow today. In fact, it's too slow for me to continue browsing through while at work. I need to be able to quickly scroll down/click out whenever I hear someone walking by. I'd better get some actual work done today.

Can't say a lot about it because I'm new, but hey, I can still descibe what I saw.

In the morning, all fine and dandy.
Then at Midday, total stop. Browser couldn't find a single page, 10 minutes later was it all fine again, although a bit laggy. It then worked out though and is now fluid again.

Seems perfectly normal to me. You know... just like the old forums. Sluggish, periodically unresponsive.
