You need to select Upgrade Existing Account.
And for the payment, dunno why it is implemented. But you can simply enter a paypal account and then cancel the billing in an instant. You still got your 1 free month of playing after all.
If you want to play more you need to buy timecards, or expansions, or pay. -

When selecting a spot for your character you normally get prompted to chose if you want to make a hero or a villain.
Safe for that am I not sure really, I got the same edition and I didn't run into any of these problems. -

It is possible to see the effects of damage enhancements in pet summon powers. Oh, another thing.
The ingame help mentions that you can/could slot defense buffs into your minions so they have better defense, I don't see the option to do that though when looking at the skill.

Another question then, if I slot Enhanced Damage into them should they cause more damage, but on the stat screen of them is no damage bonus from the enhancement shown.
Does the damage still get added or not?
Also, what about the Heal IO?
Does it add health or regenerate their HP faster or can they heal better? -
I wondered if I slotted one of the many Minion skills(undead/Mercs/thugs/etc) with an improved recharge enhancement, would the skills of these minions recharge faster too or would it just be for the skill to call them?

If you check, you'll see Willow is right, there are a few other packs you can pick up that add to your time as well as give you neat in-game stuffs.
Oh well, I'd need to send money to my pay pal account first to shop there, I stick with what I got right now.. although the NCsoft shop is far cheaper.. for some things at least. -
Can't say a lot about it because I'm new, but hey, I can still descibe what I saw.
In the morning, all fine and dandy.
Then at Midday, total stop. Browser couldn't find a single page, 10 minutes later was it all fine again, although a bit laggy. It then worked out though and is now fluid again. -

I just ordered city of villains/Heroes via amazon so I can upgrade my account.
After that I just use timecards to get more time to play *cough* 15 days for 6,99. That's cheap- Considering 60 days cost 30. *cough*
It also allows me to be more easy minded about that all. ^^ -

Yep, I was, just double checked and it is the EU version, phew. If not then I'd have been in big trouble since they don't sell the US version here and I already made some contacts here on the servers.
And if I would want to buy it online I would simply use paypal, I was just worried because another trail for another game I wanted to test required me to enter a debit card number.

Another question, 1 month acess does not mean 24 x 30 hours of gameplay but exactly 30 days, even if I don't play, right? :P -

I just recently got my hands on a CoV trial key and am amazed, the game is fun, the players are mostly nice too, if you meet any that is, hehe.
And the gameplay is solid too.
Only problem is that you can't send tells, group invites, and can't get over level 14 with the trail account. Which is a bummer.
Anycase, I wanted to upgrade my account now, but am not sure if I could do that simple with an NCsoft timecard, or would need to do something different, like buying the whole game after downloading it already.
I hope anyone can give me an answer

I also don't have a credit card, and the only way for me to play would be with the timecards.
