Karma KB resistance IO broken?
enough KB will overcome the IO.
My fire tank spent quite a bit of one Katie on his rear during the final battle because his Steadfast wasn't quite up to the job.

In both of your examples, you had the problem on a task force. What level is the toon? What level did they get the power the IO is in? What level is the IO?

I'ld say watch the mal lvls, see if your below the 3 lvl limit or if they are stacking the KB, i know if you are near enough to the tank and the tank takes the alpha, u could get enough AoE grenade KB splash to overcome you KB prot.
As the Goat said, one KB IO isn't nearly enough for the Katie. My Fire tank has two and still gets thrown around at times on that TF.
Gale is Mag 10. You need more than 2 -KB IOs on a KHTF. Wave 9 and 10 Mary can KD you even if you have 3 -KB IOs if you are standing in her Hurricane and she hits you with gale at the same time that you get hit by Thunderstorm.

Council Knockback on their ranged targeted AoE is 3. If you face a LT, it gets a bonus to magnitude and bosses more so. That magnitude is even higher if they are a higher level.
The Karma IO is 4 points. I think a +1 boss goes 4.4 or 4.8 pts of KB, thus making that Karma useless without more help.
There's always the in-base temp power 10 pts of protection you craft...

Ah, well I guess that explains it, then... just never noticed it before on my WS and all 3 toons stay pertty close to the tank (or at least within melee range). To be fair, I did Manticore on my troller tonight and didn't get KB or KD at all. *shrugs*
For Ironblade, here's the info you requested:
Controller (lvl 26)
-----------------
Superior Invisibility (lvl 22): Karma-lvl 15, slotted at lvl 22.
Blaster (lvl 50)
--------------
Hover (lvl 8): Karma-lvl 10, slotted at at lvl 8.
Warshade (lvl 50)
-----------------
Gravity Shield (lvl 2): Steadfast-lvl 14, slotted at lvl 5.
PS- I messed up on which type of KB IO that the blaster and WS had... which I corrected in the info for Ironblade.
With only 2 of them some attacks used to knock me on my claws/dark scrapper, since i added a third one i have yet to see anything going through the KB protection. If 2 didn't feel enough, i can see why only one wouldn't be very useful.

The sad part about PvP IOs being so hard to get is there are may 3 point KB resists as set bonuses.
My Electric Armor Brute has 15 points even if it exemplared to level 1 lol.

I fixed up my fire tank by slotting knockback sets- cheap, fun and effective!
Happily he was fire/axe, so I had plenty of powers to stick them in.

My City Was Gone
I have this IO slotted in Superior Invisibility on my recently created ill/rad troller and I don't think it's working properly.
For example, I was on a Citadel TF last night and was constantly getting knocked on my butt by Warcry robots and Penumbra grenade soldiers. Only about 10% of the time would I get hit by them and remain standing. I don't recall ever having this problem on my WS who has had the same IO slotted since Issue 9.
Come to think of it, perhaps the Steadfast Protection KB resistance IO is also broken, because last week I was doing the Katie Hannon TF on my blaster and was getting tossed around by storm & thunder Mavens.
Now I know the enhancement reduces knockback effects by -4, but isn't that usually enough to bypass the KB effects of the enemies listed above? Can someone help me understand why this happening?
