Well, it appears the Dev Digest only has posts from before the forum change. As the new forum usues different code the old links no longer work. There don't appear to be any new posts listed there, so we really can't tell how or if the Digest will work as it used to.
As for the password thing, yeah, I don't like it either. Didn't take me that long to figure out the issue, but the thing is I don't want to use my game account name and password to access the boards. I prefer using a seperate password for security reasons. I really hope they fix that. I erks me to no end. As it is I am only visiting the boards now from my Mac, which has better security than my PC. I would prefer to use my PC though.

I'm still uncertain as to why the new boards were deemed necessary. Old ones may have been slow from time to time, but at least stuff *worked*. Sure, it's nice having our European brethren under the same roof, but couldn't that have been accomplished without breaking pretty much everything else?

Just wondering. It's a bit hidden now. The first suspect, while labelled Dev Digest, is actually the Community Digest. Had to search a little deeper to find it. Once there, however, I discover it's every bit as functional as breasts on a boarhog. Sure, you can see which dev posted in which thread, and there's something that looks like a hotlink...but isn't. It's actually a link that leads to nowhere. What's the story here? Is it just the network at my workplace hosing me? Bad enough I lost my "View All" option for looking at multi-page threads, as well as an annoying inability to get rid of the PvP forums (don't read 'em & was able to permanently minimize them on the old forums) and the foreign language forums (should I ever have the burning need to practice my French, it's all right there)...now I can't even stalk BABs and Castle.
Also: minor gripe. Anyone else have difficulty logging in initially? I figured it out on my own (obviously), but it wasn't intuitive. Might've been nice to get a heads-up on how to log in, since the old username + password combo has evidently vaporized.
