Was Ice Blast ever nerfed?

And No I don't see anything about Ice Blast being changed.
There's been talk about the damage/activation time of blaze/Bitter Ice blast, but nothing done in game. I would expect activation time/damage normalization to hit corrs and blasters soon™ however, since some melee powers have already been smacked in the once a year nerf.

As far as I remember, the only "Nerf" to ice blast was when BaB made a pass at the blaster tier 1 and 2 powers to normalize the animations. Some folks perceived a nerf from the slight time increase to Ice Blast from 1 second to 1.65 I think.

The bitter freeze ray was modified, casting time was reduce. However not sure if the damage was lowered.
Also, during normalisation, ice blast was actualy going up in casting time, but only tier 2 i believe.
And blizzard has been going up and down nonstop. Initialy it was self-boostable and did great damage, later it became non-boostable at all (static tics) and now its i believe boostable again but had a reduced tick.

I think some may have thought of it as a nerf because the other tier 1 and 2 powers were normalize to the Ice power sets so Ice wasn't as uber in comparison anymore even though the powers themselves didn't change, just every thing else was to match them.

I'm pretty sure this is what has been perceived as the "nerf" for Corruptors. Any one of the normalization of activation times that resulted in any increase whatsoever was decried as a "nerf". Of course, some of them may have affected Defenders as well, but I wasn't paying close attention to the numbers because to me the change just really wasn't that significant.

Maybe they were reffering to pvp? Since i13 Ice/ is weak now in that phase of the game.

Someone is telling me Ice Blast for Corruptors (NOT Blasters) was nerfed around Issue 13. They said it was made "weaker" and I swear they are wrong. Was the numbers ever modified? The animations are still all at 1.0 for casting time. Was damage reduced?
