August Tanker Tuesdays and Tour

This Tuesday, Aug. 4th, will be TT #58 (2 more months until 5th anniversary) on Champion server, so come on out and get your Tank on. Starts at 9 pm EST in Kings Row on the wall near the IP gate. All Tanker Teams doing Tanky stuff.

The TTTour will pass through Liberty server this month on Aug 18th. same time, and gathering spot.


I also believe the good tanks over on Justice will be putting on another TT on Justice on Aug. 11th.

As always, all levels and powersets welcome, as long as you're a Tank. Hope to see you all there.

Another great Tanker Tuesday Tour! I'd like to thank everyone for showing up and special thanks to the lower level tanks who stuck with TT even though the turn out at their level was a bit light.

I'd also like to thank the ITF team for seeing it through and completing the Task Force. Not a record time, but hey we did it and with only 6 Tanks!! Great work team!

See you soon at our next stop Liberty, next Tuesday. Also if you enjoyed TT on Justice let me know and I'll continue to organize it. Again thanks all for the turn out and fun!!

Any chance that TT makes a stop on the Freedom server? I've been working on my Inv/SS classic super hero themed tanker and would love to kick it up with a team full of whiping boys!

Count me in provided that I can still show up at the one this coming Tuesday as well!

I'd be up for another TT on Freedom. Heck, I'll even help organize it. A few things I noticed about TTing on Justice.

1. The organizer gets a ton of personal tells, which is good as it indicates interest, but a secondary organizer is a big help as they can keep track of the local chat and run the "number system" tells, while the organizer is creating teams. Thanks Witty for taking the initiative and acting in that capacity for me last Tuesday.

2. It might help to have some TT vets ready to lead the various level ranges that way team organization and mobilization will be faster (less standing around).

3. Broadcast on TankHQ, I forgot to broadcast on TankHQ when TT was happening (Doh!, forgive me I'm a new to TT organizing).

4. If possible make a quick "zone tour" broadcasting TT prior to the event. Also something I forgot to do, but have seen Pep do it in that past on Champion and it seems to help with the turnout.

5. Offer "milk and cookies" for Tanks Beer and BBQ

Any ways.. .the 25th is open this month and would give us a complete month of TT! So, who's up for TT on Freedom Tuesday the 25th?

I'd definitely be up for a Tanker Tour on Freedom for the 25th. I fail at organizing or leading teams though, so I'd just be an indian and not a chief. :P

Also, there has been rumors of a TTTour :reloaded on Freedom next week on the 25th. So look out for that.

All TTT's will run at the usual time and place, 6pm PT (9ET), King's Row, on the wall.

I discovered to my somewhat surprise that I had a level 4 tanker on Liberty that I had made more than 2 1/2 years ago. Mostly to test a silly concept costume. Ice/SS, looks like. So I don't even have to create a new character.
