Just had the dubious pleasure of doing Positrons TF after a long time, i had forgotten what a dire, boring piece of [censored] that is.

Those old hero TF's really do need something doing to them.

I second that - got half way through it on a Themed TF team and we had to stop because it was way to long!

Far to much running around and some bits were just annoyingly difficult and repetitive

The one and only thing that the Devs actually managed to build better from the start on Villains, IMO. SF's.

Revamp the TFs, and, for the love of pete, cut down on those horrible, horrible hunt and talky missions, what fun are they? Really? It's as if the contacts have absolutely no ones number to, y'know, call them? Instead of sending the team off to see them.

Wasn't that bad LONDONER... most of us managed to keep our sanity almost up to the end. Well, I say most of us since some had none to begin with, but I digress.

"Hey, let's make a TF were low level players are subjected to unresistable damage most of the time, throw some CoT and Clockworks in there and for some missions, put all three together. Ooo! Ooo! Know what would be fun? Make lots of defeat all missions! The players will like them! And lots of running around the city for no reason at all!"

Wonder what was being smoked at the time...

It's nearly as badly designed as the Peacebringers first arc.
Yeah, let's give them Vahzilok, one of the hardest hitting mob types at low levels, to a rather squishy archtype!

I strongly disagree - SSTF1 is MUCH worse designed...

"Go and clear out this Crey base, filled with nothing but near identical grey Crey tanks. Well done, now the next mission is... exactly the same! And again! And... again! Now, the next mission is only ALMOST exactly the same! And again! Again! AGAIN! Now, for a change, fight some Nemesis in a mission that only lasts about three minutes! Now, back to clearing out those Crey bases! And again! Once more! Now you have to fight the Circle of Thorns and Rularuu forces in the really fiddly annoying Oranbega map FOR NO APPARENT REASON! Basically all hero TFs are flawed in design compared to the rest of the content. There's many reasons I stick to the villain side, but all that travel, and it was designed pre-ouro, pre-base as well.

It wouldn't need much attention to fix the worst parts of'em, cut down on travel. of course they'd have to put something else in the zones for us to appreciate them!

Major design flaw in the game: The zones are just there to make the travel between missions more annoying.

then again: I'd still rather see some major NEW *villain* content, than these [censored] hero TFs fixed!

They dont need fixing, they just need the repetative [censored] taking out.

Who honestly wants 12 kill alls, all the same in a TF? Whats the point? Just remove half of them and adjust the merits accordingly.

Talking of merits, we did a bugged statesmans tf friday, had to have the last mission completed by a GM.

Lo and behold no badge for those that didnt have it, no merits for anyone.

Several petitions later we get told merits cant be awarded after a tf, another crock of [censored] gem from customer service.

Another thing that needs to be changed is that bit in Synapse SF where you just do the EXACT same thing on the EXACT same map three times. C'mon, I know this was one of the earlier additions to the game but someone must have thought that it was a bad idea!
