Hey, look at that IO Set, Fortunata Hypnosis!

P.S. The suggestion part of this is HINT put Mesmerise/Mass Hypnosis in Fortunata Training HINT.

My point isn't that it's useful (even though it really is, and you don't have to be smart to use it tbh) it's that it's utterly preposterous that Fortunata don't have a sleep power. The fact that you can't put Fortunata Hypnosis on a Fortunata defies logic.

Bad Voodoo by @Beyond Reach. Arc ID #373659. Level 20-24. Mr. Bocor has fallen victim to a group of hooded vigilantes who have been plaguing Port Oakes, interfering with illegal operations and pacifying villain's powers. He demands that revenge is taken on these miscreants and his powers are returned! You look like just the villain for the job. Challenging.
I find the placate proc useless myself.
Indeed Beyond...
...it is silly even if a sleep power is mostly useful when soloing, which I wouldn't do on a 50.
There's a bunch of similar recipes you can't slot on those that should be able to slot them. Some recipe names are just silly that way. Also I find it offensive that the "sig hero/villain" recipes are mostly [censored] compared to the other sets, but that's a completely different subject!
Doesn't surprise me much, tbh.
What does surprise me is why they keep sleep powers in game, when, or at least I have found, they are mostly complete guff.
Ah well.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Mind Doms on a MoRSF. Yum
Dropping in on a Thugs Mastermind, sending all his henchmen off to The Land of Nod - seperating him from the sleeping mob by TK'ing him 100yds down the road. Proceed to giving him a jolly good spanking.
Thats why sleep powers are useful - and they can be used in the PvE game both defensively in the first few seconds of a team-wipe to prevent utter disaster - to hinder mobs mid-battle - or even offensively (if the team is aware of sleep power's restrictions) if the rest of the team focus on particular enemies and mind their AoEs. Its saved my skin way too many times too count personally.

Sleep is GREAT...
Hit a mob with sleep when you're soloing and pick them off one by one. Don't mess with the mez!
I think the point was the take out the group with sleep and kill the av before they wake up and find their master in a quivering nakid pile on the floor

And sets up mob for containment when you use Terrify.
In lower levels, Sleep can buy you time in combat too. Mass Hypnosis is cefinitely useful later on but a single-target Sleep (especially early on with psi damage) is a useful thing indeed.
Plus, it looks cool
I'd expect no less from you ML. That is quite a funny way to ruin a MM's day.
Mass Hypnosis saved Healer Kids behind on more than one occasion, sleep rocks
Yep, so on my main, Beyond Reach I was looking at what IO Sets I might like to have in the future, and upon coming across Gravitational Anchor, which is a simply amazing set - I only have to put one enhancement of the set on for the best bonus! - I came across Fortunata Hypnosis. I thought, that looks cool let's see if I can't find myself a Sleep power. However, within the Power Pools, Gravity Control, Psionic Assault and Soul Mastery there was no sleep power.
I thought, ah well, I'll just put it on my Fortunata when I finally get my character to 50. A little later I was reading about the different choices etc. that you get to make as a Widow so I decided to check out the different powersets...You've probably guessed what I'm getting at by now if you play a Fortunata. THERE IS NO SLEEP POWER FOR A FORTUNATA.
*facepalm*
Seriously Devs. [censored].
