25th is the day before my birthday but all I ask is that peeps take lots of colourful pictures. Me likes colours.

And I was just reminded that I'm to be up early on the 26th as well, so either it'll be not hosted by me, and in PD. Or it'll be short. Or it'll be... one week later!

I haven't been to PD for a while now so I've got no idea how 'bad' it's become. So I'm ok for it being there, perhaps in a more secluded area. If the VIP bar wasn't a thoroughfare for people taking a shortcut through PD, I'd suggest there but maybe not.

Starblayde would be a mover and shaker in that sort of circle, I imagine, though it does beg the question (does it?) - if everyone wore masks, in the Austrian Empire Grand Ball/Waltz style, wouldn't that make the traditional-looking superheroes/villains with alter-egos instantly recognisable as the hero/villain the really are?

That's that part done, now for the other:

Costume/masked/fancy dress.
I'm expecting catgirls that aren't, nurse/doctor outfits, Statesman costumes, angels, Djini, mad scientist with a big brain wig, immitations of player hero costumes.

If heroes have secret identities, it's up to them how to dress to protect them. Whether to come as a civillian, or as a hero.


Assuming I'm going to host it, I'll post an other thread after the weekend with the time and place and such.
But I can tell you now that it'll In Character be in a night club in Skyway City of the adult entertainment veriaty, though the usual entertainment will be suspended for the party (for the limited one night permit of letting younger then 21 in). It'll be an open invitation through fliers.
So, anyone could show up if they wanted. As long as they have a fair enough standing in Paragon that they have time to read fliers. So hard core 'm3 bad 4ss k1llah' villains aren't likely to show up, and definitely not welcome.

Rufus will be there.

One of my character will be there, of course im not going to say which one shall be there.

If avoiding tools is not too big a challenge, I would have rather we all gathered in Pocket D for the masquerade ball. Also, would it be more interesting to keep the dress code limited to masquerade as opposed to fancy dress and Halloween outfits? Saturday 25th sounds good though. I'll be there either way. A host is not essential.

I suppose a general costume ball would be better as it allows a greater range of outfits, which could easily encompass Masquerade, Fancy Dress through to Halloween costumes. Open ball at Pocket D this Saturday sounds good. The second party which you intend to host, will it be in a private space like a supergroup base?

This saturday at 8pm servertime. I am toying with the idea of a 'best dressed' prize show, sort of competition?

Damn, 8pm? Might not be around for the start, I'll probably only be around closer to then 9 or 10pm border. Is the theme still a masquerade or has it changed?

I may pop in but I'm unsure, the masquerade did not go so well for me, I hoped to RP with some new people but it seemed most were happiest talking to the people they usually talk to and not branching out too much :\
