About City of Heroes Good Versus Evil Special ..

About the City of Heroes® Good Versus Evil Special In-Game Item Pack, Shouldn't this pack include the ''back details'' tab as well? - Apart from the items, And what new costume type is included in this package as example?


EDIT: I've got the normal version of ''city of villains'' in box at home, does that have to do anything with it, so do i need the 'good versus evil version' installed from the box as well?

I bought CoH Good vs Evil Edition (Europe) [online code purchase] which is the online code, But doesn't that mean that I have the game as well?

Still no ''Back detail'' tab though.

I'm not sure if I'm reading the right, but if you've only just bought the game, have you just started? If so, there is a level requirement to wear capes (back details). If I remember rightly, it's level 20 and you need to do a quest.

If that's not what you wanted to know, then just point and laugh at me, I can handle it

Good vs evil item pack is completly uncesserary if you already have the good vs evil edition of the game.
the items added are:
Pocket D teleporter.
Jump Pack.
Sinister and Justice Costume sets.

The item pack was added for those who bought the game before the good vs evil edition came out.

If you have a "normal" box at home you don't need to do anything, just apply the good vs evil item pack code to your account and you're set. Note that it may take up to an hour until the effects are noticeable ingame. And you have to be logged out of the game when you apply the code, else it might egt bugged and you have to contact support. (You will get a warning about that when you try add code).

As far as i can remember, good vs evil have no specific "back details" or capes.
Those are unlocked in game once you reach level 20 and perform some missions to unlock em.

Yes they do have a temporary back detail whilst used ingame for about 30 seconds.

unlock capes after lvl20;

Just to mention if you splashed out for the full MAC Game rather than just the add on pack you get both 1 month time free and the MAC Pack items for only £9.99 which is only £1 more than a months gameplay on it's own...

MAC game = £9.99
MAC pack = £5.99 + 1 Month game time £8.99 = £14.98

Just getting the MAC game and adding it to your CoX account saves you £4.99, almost the cost of another booster pack...

But if buying the mac pack, it as well gives you the wing, without having to choose it? - Or is the back detail tab with the mac version item pack included?. And I don't need the good versus evil mack edition for this item pack to work, Do I ?

1. In costume creator the back details tab is automatically displayed if the character has at least one available back details item (cape, wings, prestige cape, prestige wings, etc). The tab itself is always there, its just not shown if you have nothing in it.

2. None of the booster/item packs are tied to a specific version of the game (PC or Mac).

3. Mac pack includes both capes and wings items. They are available at level 1/char creation so if you have the pack then all your characters will have Back details tab shown as they all will have at least one item under it.

4. Currently you need to be level 20 and have done the Cape mission to access the 'CoH Deluxe' or 'CoV Collectors Edition' Capes.

I have put in a request to get these placed into the 'Prestige Cape' selections (like the valk's) available from level 1.
