Come to Defiant! Seriously, I regularly go to bed around 4am at the moment, and before the impact of the I14 open beta (and it is very quiet right now, no question) there always seemed to be plenty of people around to me. As well as the insomniacs, there are a US players like Golden Girl. Sometimes the search looks a little sparse because of peope hiding, but if you watch Defiant Events you'll see people starting up TFs, etc. (Mind you, I only play on Defiant, so the same might well be true of Union for all I know.)
I'm away all weekend, or I'd promise to join a TF with you :-)

I read they were going to let us know well in advance of it going live because of the new SG Super leader thing. I'd find the post but I really can't remember if it was on the US or EU forums.

I think it might also depend on how they're planning to launch the boxed version too.

Remember, when rolling new characters on multiple accounts to level pact each and every one with another character on one of the other accounts. A character you won't be playing as a part of your multibox team. (account A fire/rad lp'd with account b stone/axe, account b fire/rad lp'd with account c fire/fire, etc)
Thus while you're leveling your 5 fire/rads, you're also leveling 5 other of your toons as well, allowing you to have a more varied palette of characters to play with once everyone is nice and high level and you're completely fed up with fire/rads

I don't really have anything constructive to add about "Multiboxing", Salerth. In fact I didn't even know what it was until reading this thread. I have two accounts but that was just really for extra slots (before purchasable/vet reward slots) and now I just really use them for inf/Io transfers etc and have two machines anyway so, honestly, can't help on the multiboxing thing.
But just wanted to say it was great to see a fellow mackem on CoX and a fellow insomniac too!

Oh my... Running 2 MMs is already getting annoying for me on most maps, admittedly I really want both MMs so there's little synergy between them.
I must admit, I still do find joy in playing with myself, and think most boys would!
...and people will be back next week when I14 goes live.. Sure, they'll just hang out at that game center, erhm, entertainment lab, but they'll be back at least, for a few days before boredom hits hard again. Personally I'll be back running ITFs once my health's back up to green but I seem to be debuffed by some sneaky rad. Still coughing greenish slime every 2nd breath.
If you want some fun, I'd suggest going for a good brute, and sticking some buffer on second so you get to actually play the game, not just run around maps waiting for pets to do what the do best. Now, go play with yourself!
