Nerva has one map where you fight the Back Alley Brawler its kind of in a square area - cant remember the name.

This reminded me that there's at least one in the north of Nerva (Primeva or similar) where you have to defeat a longbow hero stood on some stone structure/monument after going through the water.

You're right there is!

Interesting thing about this map is lots of the spawn points are in the water.

I really should do something about this signature.

I would like to see a Strigia based map, featuring the graveyard and swamp.

If there could be a transition from a mauseleum to caves, that would be even better.

Huge Oranbega maps. That's all you really need.

edit: maybe also a cave with multiple layer cake rooms.

Can we use villain maps on blueside and vice versa? THat could help add even more variety.

I get the impression that the mission designer is effectively faction-neutral - anything can be created for either side. So maps, enemies etc that only appear in the dev-designed game for one faction are available to both.

the only things i want right now are
a prison
a shop (just a shop, with an enemy and a couple of minions around him and loads of cowering hostages)
(MAYBE even steel canyon, where i can have multiple burglaries going on at once...hmmmm...)
and a placable crate, slightly opened, where you can see arachnos mugs/cups in them

I'd like to see the Hess TF final mission map. It'd just be so awesome.

Also the police stations, banks and shops from Safeguard/Mayhem missions.

And a outdoor map of all the zones. ALL the zones (that includes the very much dusty Monster Island in CoV)

I'm not so sure on which specific maps I would like (partly because I don't know yet which maps will be missing, and there's a tonne of content already to search through for inspiration when it goes live) but it would be nice if we could edit slightly the blue walls on outdoor instances, so we could tweak them to particular tastes; Obviously you can only make them smaller, but forcing players to enter the next part of the map through a plot specific door or graveyard etc by making subsections would open up a fair few new ideas...

So many tasty maps to choose from, I think I'd be spoilt for choice. One thing I'd try to avoid, unless the storyline requires it, is putting in too many of the lesser-seen maps.

On paper it sounds like a brilliant idea, but in my opnion it would take something away from those special areas if overused. People relate to them more because of their uniqueness, but if everyone starts using them in tons of missions they'll start to become mundane.

So, a careful balance then. But there are a few maps I would love to use.

Eden -- Not the whole zone, obviously, but the area is a discarded paradise if you spent the time to look around. A small cordened off section of Eden would make a beautiful addition to a mission set I've had in mind.

Frostfire -- I've always loved this map, and I really want to see it given more uses. The ice gives it some nice wintery tones.

Amy's House -- From the Katie Hannon TF. All right, it's just a cave with some extra lighting effects and props, but all the same it's an ideal map for my plot.

Leviathan cave -- You know, the one with the swirling vortices that threaten to throw you around like a rag doll. That's going to be fun to use...

I want a proper base editor-style designer for it.

And I want a pony and a plastic rocket...

Seriously, if we could borrow whole rooms from maps then that'd make a lot of sense. One of my favourite ideas so far has to take place in PCPD HQ... so I'd need a whole bunch of cop maps and the control room from the Faultline Dam (for my lead ally NPCs' forensics lab.)

Is it time for the dance of joy yet?
