Well then, another 50.
Fire/Willpower Scrapper. He is tons of fun, but I still have no idea what to do with him.

I've seen several builds with one or the other, but nothing VERY good with both.

Has anyone done AV's solo with Fire/WP?
Pylon times?
RWZ challenge?

Would be very interested in build ideas.
ATM, have MakosBite/CrushingImpact x3 in mele for the +HP / Regen. Not much else really. Mostly frankenslotted.

Have been keeping my eye open here and on the US scrapper forum for ideas, but not seen anything REALLLY good yet from this combo.

I've tried myself to cook a WP build softcapped to smashing/lethal/energy/negative but failed miserably and only managed to softcap energy/lethal.

Fire is probably best primary for AV soloing bar Infernal/Envoy of Shadows, but I can't see WP being of much use against single powerful foes such as AV's, your RttC is almost nullified while if you are going to use Aid Self often, your DPS will probably drop allowing the AV to regenerate, still, softcapped to at least energy/negative would help against some AV's.

This is the best shot I've got to softcapped WP, the lack of self heal though, might make this impossible for AV soloing, dunno:

Thanks for the build idea there Nightmarer!

wow, look at those defense numbers!
If I could keep a few minions around to feed RttC it just might work!
No hasten, ouch, but then again, activating it is one less attack and time for them to pull out their heavy hitters.

I believe with that slotting, could do:
GFS - Incinerate - Cremate - FireSword - repeat
I'll run it through mids and see.
Suppose a purple or 2 would do the trick for really tough fights.

Several of the well-known AV hunters on the US scrapper board have said Fire/WP should be capable.
I'm surprised there's so little in way of builds, even if just ideas.

Don't you hate the new Focused Accuracy, it's great on WP because of no endurance issues... and now they go and nerf it. I have it on my claws/WP since I wanted Energy Torrent and although it was more useful choice than Conserve Power, damn I hate it!

decreased the tohit bonus by alot and gave it some +accuracy
also make it quite a bit cheaper to run.

Does about the same in PvE, but i think it's weaker in PvP now.

Out of interest, in PvE how effective is it, does it replace an Accuracy IO allowing you to slot only one per attack?

it gives 20% acc and 5% (??) tohit now.
I rarely miss with it running, but most my attacks are slotted to have 60+% acc anyway.

I have it on my Claws/WP scrapper since I needed access to Energy Torrent, he misses more with FA and 1 Acc IO on attacks than with 2 Acc IO's and no FA so I'm keeping it just as a set mule

Oh great, NOW this thread is going strong, on Focused Accuracy. ha.

Oh well, Have the infamous NEKO here, so I'm happy

And yah, FA is 5%ToHit (about 8% 3-slotted)

Leadership:Tactics is 7%ToHit (about 10% 3-slotted)
Tactics uses about half the endurance

Can't bear to give up my Hasten for Tactics though.
Want that FireSwordCircle up asap!

180% would be enough, problem is he has no defense mitigation aside from heightened senses and weave.
He could do it with insps though.

My DM/SR has less than 180% acc but still kills AVs. I think Siphon Life is the only power with that level of acc, the others are still around 165% IIRC

Accuracy matters nothing when fighting AVs unless they have a defense-based armor toggle or godmode.
If you can hit +2 Minions with 95% Accuracy, you can hit +2 AVs with 95% Accuracy.

Here's a short list of what you need to reach that 95% Accuracy:

+0s = 1.267
+1s = 1.397
+2s = 1.557
+3s = 1.727
+4s = 1.979
+5s = 2.317

If you're already level 50, then you're usually fighting level 50 AVs (unless you're on something like the STF) in which case a mere 127% accuracy would do (about one-and-a-half SOs on normal attacks).

All that DAMAGE! But hmm, not much in way of survivability.

Mael, Really like where you're going with that one!
Think I could swap soome recharge for accuracy, unless slowed you don't need much recharge for:
GFS - Incinerate - Cremate - FireSword - repeat
Especially with the beloved Hasten in there.
So, maybe swap the Crushing Impact triple for an Acc/Dam.
60%+ recharge is plenty, and green Acc numbers plus the IO bonus should be fine.

and yah, I like to have the acc numbers hovering in the orange (twitch twitch)

Between the 2 VERY nice builds here I have some new ideas.
