As NCSoft has bough the CoX IP Cryptic does not have any say anymore whether CoX will cease to exist due to Champions.
In short, CoX isn't run by Cryptic anymore so they can't spend or lose money on it.

What will happen for me, is that I'll probably try it in honesty, but the several years investment I've made into CoH will be pretty hard for me to dump in favor of a new game where once again I won't know anyone.
So I'd be VERY hard pushed to actually leave CoH ( I tried once and was back within months ) altogether!

CO holds no interest to me - no investment in the IP at all. Might give it a look if I get too bored. Now, having seen some footage of DCUO, that I'll have a look at!
Ahhh ok I wasn't sure if Cryptic ran coh and cov still or not
My actual opinion is though that a lot of players will leave for Champions or just to try it out, but due to all the hours they have put into making there toons 50 and slotting them will purples then a lot of them would probably come back.
Champions however will obviously make us lose some players but I reckon a lot will still be here

That you can't create your own character , I am pretty sure you pick a famous hero or villain and play as them but just lvl them up. So you woudn't be unique to any other players and come on, everyone will be picking Super Man and Batman.
Besides Sony made it, probably will be a online game filled with bugs, give it a year

I got told ( not saying it is true) if over 95% of us leave for TOR then all other MMOs in the universe might stop running.

Since CO will mostly be away from the city (they have that focus), I feel more at home in the city and Im just too attached to my chars. Just my two cent, dime (whatever your currency)

Ok so Cryptic is making this new game very similar to coh and cov, known as Champions.
The graphics seem awesome from the images and clips of the gameplay, beta testers have left positive comments about the game, but there is just one question.
Will coh and cov pretty much die?
Will everyone leave coh n cov due to people leaving for Champions Online?
I got told ( not saying it is true) if over 75% of us leave for Champions Online then Cryptic might stop running coh and cov as they woudn't wanna spend there money if there not recieving much money back if many players have left
So What Will Happen ? leave your opinions and any facts you know off please
