You can find the option inside Menu-> General. It's called Disable Earning XP, it's inside the miscellaneous square.

Please note, it's not like exemping or being level 50, you stop gaining XP, you don't gain extra Inf/Prs instead.

What's the point of that option? Why go to all that trouble and turn all rewards off? Seems a bit odd to me.
Not all rewards, just XP. If you exemp, or hit 50, and so cannot gain XP, you gain extra Inf/Prs to 'compensate'. If you choose to not gain XP (probably to stop yourself levelling while a friend catches up or something) then you don't gain the extra Inf.
I just used the feature myself, btw, since I needed to get close to level without hitting it. Got a level 50 party mission planned for tonight and if I had let myself get the boss and mission bonus XP, I'd have gone over.

The main use is to avoid outleveling content.
there is a secondary use: if you turn it on just before you ding, you can arrange to level, and hence get the level up boost, just before tackling a troublesome fore.

Erm... then you're either still earning Double Xp or you're not earning any at all. Which isn't what I wished for.
I just dislike the now forced Double XP on all my characters that we've got.

Well, if you have Patrol XP and turn XP gain off, it still eats through your Patrol XP. So you can turn XP gain off, chew through your Patrol XP, and then level normally.
Unless that's a bug and will be fixed sometime.

You could just turn on "no Xp" for every other mission on a DXP weekend.

But then I stop earning XP. I know it's a small thing and wouldn't take long to clear off, but it just bugs me that I'd have to.
I've already outlevelled a couple of 10-15 story arcs because of it when before I wouldn't have.
*Shrugs* I'll just have to learn to live with it, but given how easy they've made levelling this past year, why oh why did they even think this was a good idea?

I spent pretty much all my time levelling Ni from about level 38 to 50 in the RWZ doing Borea's instanced missions. I did go through and do a few arcs, but not that many. And I really don't care.
Why is this? Well, because I haven't 'out-levelled' them. I can press a button, step through a portal, and do them any time I like. I even checked and the (apparently very interesting) Midnighter arcs, which I out-levelled by virtue of the fact they were added long after I had passed those levels, are available through Ouroboros too, so I can still go and do those.
There really isn't any such thing as 'out-levelling an arc' any more. And this way, I can totally ignore the ones I remember boring me to tears when I did them on Crow and every arc was vital to stop you having to finish a level band on hunts.

Walk into purple mobs until the debt has cleared out the dxp. You can even make money by running a book on how fast you die

Question about this stop Exp thing: if I get a toon to 10, Stop the exp getting and instead start gathering debt. Do I still pay of debt when not getting exp?

Yeah, it does matter if you want to try something crazy... Like getting all debt badges at lowest possible level..
