Your characters and the Paragon City music scene!
The Amber Banshee is still active and released an album earlier this year under her civillian name of Saffron Mackenzie. She's mainly soft pop/rock type music (Sheryl Crow/Michelle Branch type) but has sung for classical/opera as well. The album was self-released so no label and it hasn't done well enough to release her from her day job as librarian at Steel Canyon University. But she still plays in bars and places around Paragon every now and again with moderate success.
She'd quite easily be talked into a charity concert.

Morgana Fiolett is a singer, probably far better known in the UK than in the US, but with a few albums to her name. She's an alternative type singer, rocky but ethereal. Since she lost her memory in May and hasn't been able to work as a hero for a while (read, got retconned and is staying low-level to go into a levelling pact), she has been working on her music again, so is probably trying to bring a new "comeback" album out in time for the festive season... She'd probably jump at the chance!
Also, I had a thought, you could use non-musical stars as compéres. Glitterfrost (half of the once-world-famous stage magic duo "The Iceman and Glitterfrost", now a fairly well-known hero who has been making a stage comeback on the side) would be happy to make herself available.
Carmen Belasco (runner-up in the "Paragon's Next Top Model" reality show and now the hero Carmen Chameleon) might also be an option, although she's quite low in the list of Paragon City celebrities and might take a little persuasion due to her now-lizardy features.

The Siren (Cyrene's stage name and hiding in plain sight kinda persona) is mostly found singing in the clubs. She has to this date not recorded an album (even though it has been offered)... for some reason though the Siren has not been on stage for the last 2 months.
The Siren is a live singer only (Cyrene is found on Union handbook).
She would have been interested, but since she is... sorta sick.. she has had to cancel all gigs (until she gets her voice back).

DJ Stacker's still around and still active. She runs the Paragon-based Rescuer Records label through which she released two albums, one of which being a charity compilation of her prior works. Her genre of choice is trance, but she's also pumps out an alarming amount of Amiga music as well, which formed the basis of her charity album. When she's not writing new tunes, she's DJing whereever.
She'd be all for it.
I've also got White Noiz, another trance artist, but she's currently label-less and got a bit on her plate at the moment. >_>

Stuff
Vox Doom should be quite famous around the City of... world and is in a band called Sidereal Din, there 'should' be posters for their albums and stuff around. He'd be well up for this. They've even written a 20 minute long Xmas song.
Sort of rocky/punky type stuff, they'd class themselves as post-punk. He's also an expert in explosives and is closely involved in the pyros for the shows.

Dee Dee Diablo and her punk band The Last Word are well known on the Paragon music scene.
They regularly gig at clubs around the city, most frequently at the Comet Club, Galaxy City.
They have released one album Greetings from the Gutter and several singles.
Dee's most recent release was a solo single These Are My Demons.
Dee has a history of playing charity events such as Rock Against the Rikti and concerts for the Angel Foundation and Hope Island.

A poster appears across Paragon City. In music shops, monorail stations, Pocket D, outside local stores, covering University campuses and in all known recording studios.
Joey made sure his phone was on all hours of the day, and waited.
((Alright, thanks for all the replies! I'm still thinking over the fine details, so this is to get a basic IC-Response from any who want to take part. Phone call/visit, etc, we'll assume they met up and agreed to the concert.
Also: I'd love those who want to take part to post a small description of the act. For example:
Band/Act Name: The Pipedream
Genre: Rock/Metal
...And anything else you can think of that might be useful! ))

Pulling down a poster Flashpoint smirked slightly, rumaging in her pocket for her phone she pulled it out and dialled the number quickly, left her details, contact and band name as the other end picked up...
((Band name: Russian Roulette
Gothic/Symphonic Metal.
Will do some of their own songs plus a few Iron Maiden, Turisas, Nightwish covers. So Symphonic Metal really. And whatever Maiden are classed as.))

Gemma stumbled into her studio, her hands full with various discs, optical and magnetic alike. Atop the unstable plastic pile sat one of of aforementioned posters, picked up from the mailbox as she entered the building.
The musician then staggered over to her desk, dumping the pile of discs onto it and ensuring the thing stayed upright. Sitting down as she read the poster for a moment, she then placed it on top of her yellowed Amiga and reached for her phone.

Landing at the station with an annoyed grunt, Vox pulled off his burnt, ruined hockey jersey and sighed. He wondered when Paragon was going to stop relying on heroes to put out their fires.
A short time later, after checking his e-mails and the band's forums, he spotted a poster on the wall.
Looking it over, he tapped a number into his phone.
"Hey, Ibu? You heard about this charity gig? Can you set an appearance there up for us?
You're already doing it?
Best agent ever.
Thanks doll."
He grinned and put his mobile away, remembered his ruined shirt and leapt out of the station, flying into the air, heading towards Icon.
(( Band name: Sidereal Din. Post-Punk/Industrial/Cyber with the odd bouncy "angry pop" anthem scattered about. Manager/Agent/General sorter outer = Ibuprofen (played by Morgana Fiolett). Lineup is Vox on vocals, weird noises and euphoric feelings, Groove on bass, Clik Trax (a gurl!) on drums and Rivethead on guitars.
Vox is often in magazines doing interviews, they're probably about as famous as Nine Inch Nails. General public perception of him is as an arrogant, irresponsible rocker playing at being a hero. His fans see him differently though.
He regards saving lives as the most important job he has.
Edit: Vox's power is in his voice, he can use it to do almost anything (I haven't fully defined what he can and can't do) and in gigs he uses it to alter people's minds, making them feel euphoric and happy. Basically he makes them trip out with his funky voice powers.
Critics claim he uses it to control his fanbase. Obviously they're wrong. ))

Morgana looked up as Sirius came home, his arms full of groceries.
"Oh!" She jumped up to help him. "Crikey, I thought you were only going to pick up milk!"
He shrugged as they dumped the shopping on the table. "They had a lot of offers on. Oh yeah, I saw this, too. Thought it might be something you'd be interested in?"
He fished a rolled up piece of paper out from underneath a bunch of bananas and passed it to her.
She unrolled it. "Charity gig eh? Well... I suppose."
"What do you mean, suppose?"
She shrugged. "I dunno. Am I ready for a comeback show? The album was hard enough..."
He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head. "You'll be great. Besides, it's the US, and it's charity, so.. less pressure, right?"
She sighed. He was probably right. Besides, perhaps getting on stage again would be good for her recovery. She picked up the phone and started dialling.
((Morgana Fiolett- Solo artist, uses session musicians for live shows.
Genre: Alternative hippy rock. A bit "All About Eve"-ey, bit "My Bloody Valentine", hint of Ladytron.))

Ibuprofen saw the charity gig poster in her favourite café when she stopped to pick up her morning coffee.
She thought about it while she sipped her tall caramel macchiato, double shot, and took out her phone as she left the café.
"Hello, can I speak to Joey Stahl please? My name is Helena, I represent Sidereal Din. I saw your poster and would like to express their interest."

Evening all!
Christmas Day is almost upon Paragon City. It's probably really cold out there (I know it is here ) and the Rikti are still being pretty nasty. As are the recent Zombie invaders.
...I'll get to the point.
A while back, I had a character who was involved in the Paragon music scene. His name was Joey, and he was in a band called The Pipedream.
Joey had aspirations of being a big time rockstar, but they had to take a back seat because I had the same aspirations in real life, getting a job and the like.
Now...finally getting to the point.
Question 1: Is your character/s involved in the Paragon City music scene? In a band/DJ/Record Label/etc?
Question 2: Are they alive/well/still in one piece?
Question 3: Would they be able for a concert some time in December, near to Christmas?
Answer to all 3 = yes, then:
How would your character (and their band, if applicable) like to be involved in a charity concert, to raise money for the damages of the Second Rikti War?
I'm still plotting and planning how it would work (initial plan is simply to have a forum post, stating the concert site, the bands, the times they play, etc. Then people can post reactions, RP being there, whatever). Joey and his manager would be in contact before, obviously.
This is basically to gauge how many people would be up for it.
So...I hope there's a few!
