Mastermind Soul Extraction question
Looking on Red Tomax's site on the subject, it looks like by "power of the soul" it means the strength of the powers. Look at the damage/heal values given for the powers in each of the links below:
Spirit [Minion Level]
Tortured Soul [Lt Level]
Wraith [Boss Level]
Question: If you used Detonator (Traps, level 38) on a Necromancy pet, would you be able to extract the soul?
Does it leave a targetable body?
"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"
Yes, you can use Detonator and then Soul Extraction.
The three have slightly different powers to use too. The wraith can do more ...
- The Italian Job: The Godfather Returns #1151
Beginner - Encounter a renewed age for the Mook and the Family when Emile Marcone escapes from the Zig!
- Along Came a... Bug!? #528482
Average - A new race of aliens arrives on Earth. And Vanguard has you investigate them!
- The Court of the Blood Countess: The Rise of the Blood Countess #3805
Advanced - Go back in time and witness the birth of a vampire. Follow her to key moments in her life in order to stop her! A story of intrigue, drama and horror! Blood & Violence... not recommend to solo!

Can he?
I initially thought the only difference was the HP they had, but Phantoms post seems to indicate they do more damage too. But I was pretty sure they didn't get any extra powers.
But to be honest I just tend to sacrifice a Zombie for the Spirit anyway, its easier for me to do mid-battle so I don't have huge experience with the other two,
I do love it when I manage to get two of em out, although it doesn't last long. 8 henchmen + a Dark Servant. Loads of fun!
thanks for the help, guys, that's exactly the answer I needed. Of course, my Grave Knight hardly ever dies in battle at the moment, so I normally end up just making a Spirit. Oh well!
EDIT:
Another question, if you'd be so kind... can you slot Noxious Gas to increase the chance of vomiting? I'd love to see Statesman chucking up his dinner all over the floor..

I don't think you can. It can only be slotted for recharge, end red & range.

The pdf manual that came with Issue 8 is still downloadable. It gives more info on the pets powers

I love bringing back my Lich using Soul Extraction. The resulting spirit is quite powerful and is incredibly tough to take down. It's rare I see it get defeated unless im taken down myself or it's timer runs out.
Now if only my Lich would die a little easier...
Characters:
The Heroic Mary Grace (50)
The Mystical Thunderspark (50)
The Candy-loving Little Jenny (50)
The power description for a Mastermind's Necromancy power Soul Extraction states: "The power of the soul depends on the type of undead henchman you extract it from..."
Now, i've looked at the detailed info, and all the different ghost types seem to have the same stats. Is the description outdated/inaccurate, or am I missing something? Or is it just a visual difference?
Thanks in advance
