Chances are that this thread will be closed down by GR. The forum rules are that each different language area should only be written in that language. While I appreciate the frustration of my fellow players who are/speak German (I don't, so I have no idea what the above says), this is not the way to go about it.

He's basically saying the German players are feel abandoned and frustrated by NC's almost complete abandonment of the German boards, and that his thread in the German section about it got closed without comment. If what he says it true, I think it's a quite legitimate complaint.

You cant help but feel for them though can you, what a farce getting rid of the German speaking red name.

Its the same farce the French had, this company really do things the most obscure way.

How hard would it really be to get a part time, work from home german speaker to moderate their boards.?

Yep, fob em off and let the community dissolve quietly seems to be the approach taken. Which is pretty dire IMO. At least have the guts to make and announce your plans.

In fact since NCEU got dispersed there's been no word really about the new web site and features that were supposed to be coming "soon"

Just in case anyone thinks I'm not sympathetic - I certainly am!

Believe me, I think that the lack of support to the Deutsch-speaking part of the community is a terrible shame, and I think that NC have seriously screwed the pooch by not allowing for sufficient cover since Kerensky left.

I was merely pointing out that posting in the English-speaking portion of the boards in German is against the forum rules.

For the concerned players, I would suggest emailing Ghostraptor (at) ncsoft (dot) com or sending him a PM, rather than starting a thread that is very likely to get locked.

well they say alot of things sadly, and we in the eu know they never act on their word.
which is unfortunate tbh, i know their busy trying to make people in game happy as well as attract new people/get people back during this time of fog. but they need to give support for those on the forums as well. i know its moving to a different location, but theres no point if we cant get support on the forums. (Btw the rednames who are on the forums are doing a good job with what they can do. (just thought id point tht out ))

I think that Ghostraptor is trying as hard as he can, in what is essentially an untennable position caused by corporate decisions over which he has no control. I can only assume that Palladium is doing the same.

While I am aware that the OP was not slating GR or Pal personally, but rather addressing concerns to NC (using our direct representatives of NC, the CCs), it's worth bearing in mind that while GR may want to tell us things, his hands are tied, and he can't even say whether he wants to tell us things or not.

but until then, its hard to get an really good answer by anyone, most times its only the "that isn true, the german support is good as kerensky's support was" etc...

I think NCNC should at least have the honesty and say to the German players that they have stopped the forum support.

Never mind that, they should suffer the very modest expense of a temp, work from home German moderator if they cant afford a full time one.

Kerensky's position was made redundant as part of the restructuring process. Due to legal reasons associated with that, unfortunately no one will be communicating with the German community directly on a day-to-day basis.

Edit: to clarify, as there appears to have been a misunderstanding: We still have people reading the German forums and collecting feedback. Major announcements will still be posted to the German forums.

We will do everything we can to support the German community within the constraints that have been placed upon us. Unfortunately, for the reason above (amongst others), we will not have anyone replacing Kerensky for direct day-to-day communication.
