I see it as an attempt to make an "Invasion" by using the Trick or Treat mobs. The invasions are so durn slow anyway, you may as well try and mix it up a li'l.

Well I though it was awesome, a shame that a few people complained about us spoiling the zone, in my opinion it was great to see so many Heroes standing together and enjoying the game ! Can't wait until the next one hopefully it will be even bigger !

I don't think that was the intention. We'd literally just finished an invasion before it started. I think it was just to get everyone the badges and to try and kill the server hamster

What should be petitioned is the Ace Rimmer in there. Not out of any sense of legal ramifications, but more because people with such an insulting lack of inspiration and imagination deserve bad things.

I think there is no possible discusion this time, not like the last Tuesday, with mobs attacking everyone and everywhere in PI with no previous warning. This time it was planned and announced in advance, so it's perfect and hasn't spoiled anything.

Yep, there was one dangerous route, other than that PI was fine.

I arrived 40 mins late with my level 45 and there didn't seem to be any teams going so I did some drive-by rezzing of the fallen and then got a missions team. Looked like great fun though, nice to see some player-generated events in the zones.

Ace.Rimmer and Pe.Ace Rimmer are my toons.
I didn't make them due to a lack of imagination, check out my other toons for proof of that. I made them because I'm a fan of Red Dwarf and the Ace Rimmer character and wanted to pay homage to them both.

Flame me if you want, or even petition me if you feel the need. I will say though I've received far more tells with a positive tone for the charecter than a negative one.

I think so, it's Khorak for heavens sakes

I tend to agree with him to be honest, wouldn't be bothered petitioning you but I prefer a bit of originality in peoples toons too. I prefer a homage with a pun on or variation of the originals name and theme.

Agree on the homage thing but Pe.Ace Rimmer for a peacebringer is pure genious. The toon of Ace Rimmer is a very good likness too tho

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I felt that Khorak was being a bit harsh, when you consider that he hasn't seen any of my other toons. Not to worry, assumption is a part of life that we all have to deal with.

Personally I like the toon, though I only really bring him out for events etc. these days.

Each to their own at the end of the day, I see no reason to petition it, bit of a jobsworth thing to do really, and indication that:

a) The person has nothing better to do
b) They are obviously mad at the world and have to make everyone else miserable.

I find it hard to think that anyone could have a genuine objection (bbc excluded), CoX is only a game.

Pe.Ace Rimmer is funny, its got a groanworthy pun in there and you can have all sorts of seafood related puns with the "Smoke me a.." and Lobster and Squid forms

The other is just a direct copy of something off the TV, personally I don't really like that. Reminds me of series one of Heroes when there were a billion* blonde cheerleaders running around. Still, at least you picked a fairly niche character and not the Flavour of the TV Month to copy.

*this may be hyperbole
