I had a problem where herostats was causing servere graphics lag, I updated to the latest version and it went away, my system was similar to your, do you run herostats?

I know, great isn't it.

You can't really copyright being bald, in a suit and wielding a gun, unless your name is also 'Hitman' or some kind of copy of his Codename 47.

What should be petitioned is the Ace Rimmer in there. Not out of any sense of legal ramifications, but more because people with such an insulting lack of inspiration and imagination deserve bad things.

Ace.Rimmer and Pe.Ace Rimmer are my toons.
I didn't make them due to a lack of imagination, check out my other toons for proof of that. I made them because I'm a fan of Red Dwarf and the Ace Rimmer character and wanted to pay homage to them both.

Flame me if you want, or even petition me if you feel the need. I will say though I've received far more tells with a positive tone for the charecter than a negative one.

I would petition you the minute I saw you. The whole reason for petitioning characters like yours is that the company who owns the character you've ripped off can sue NCSoft if they wanted to over unlawful use of the name.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I felt that Khorak was being a bit harsh, when you consider that he hasn't seen any of my other toons. Not to worry, assumption is a part of life that we all have to deal with.

Personally I like the toon, though I only really bring him out for events etc. these days.

Each to their own at the end of the day, I see no reason to petition it, bit of a jobsworth thing to do really, and indication that:

a) The person has nothing better to do
b) They are obviously mad at the world and have to make everyone else miserable.

I find it hard to think that anyone could have a genuine objection (bbc excluded), CoX is only a game.

Don't wish to get flamed on my first post on the forums but I must say I wholeheartedly agree with Jade Warriors assesment of the situation; we pay a subscription to NCsoft for a service that is fast becoming a joke.

New developments are becomming consistantly flawed, if delivered at all. I am now seriously considering leaving the game after over 3 years as it just isn't fun for me anymore. Defiant IS dead most of the time, mapservers and bugs have increased in frequency, and the content and delivery of new issues has been flawed as of late.

And as JW says above, if we can't vent it here where can we?
