Seems a bit odd, I mean a Singularity with a name?
But then even on my mastermind I dont name my pets...
You get attached if you give them a name, then i'd get upset if they died.

Not usually an issue with Zombies. In fact it's encouraged.

My Animate stone's name is Peanut - people still look at me funny when I talk to, berate, encourage and congratulate him in-game
My Phantom Army are Rod, Jane and Freddy.... I have recieved similar looks when I do the same.

While we are at it. Wouldn't hurt to name those veteran pets as well.
Aye, the non-combat ones should be renamable and be able to do Emotes and Goto command IMO, they're more like Familiars than anything else
Well, without wanting to derail the original post - the ball has been well and truely missed with the veteran pets.
They do nothing, whereas they should be nameable (just like pets should of been blue-side by now).
The veteran pets should also have a function, perhaps a small buff/debuff ( and more than 1 hit-point please:48-month reward I'm looking at you) or perhaps a small depository for salvage, Insps or recipes.

I know a singularity called Olivia: she gives big powerful hugs indiscriminately. One of my main characters had a crush on her, she crushed him, and he never ever learned his lesson.

Well, I hope title is clear enough. I'm aware this must has been asked dozens of times, but one more can't hurt methinks.
I am not asking for controller pets to be controlled like MAstermind ones or anything like that, I am just wondering if, taking advantage of this wave of QoL changes we've had this year... is there a chance Controllers can name their pets at will?
That'd be great in my opinion.
