Cimerora doesn't count as time travel?
I'm dropping the bible discussion. Not because this topic needs to stay on-topic, but because I don't think I can offer anything meaningful to it that isn't repeating what I have already said.
Golden Girl has her personal beliefs on how things work, and it's sort of against my personal beliefs to push her any further.
One can offer only so much advise before he starts turning into a foaming zealot preaching of the one true way of understanding things.

And the part where it says people who use magic or summon spirits must be killed?
[/ QUOTE ]
That's not in *my* Bible
[/ QUOTE ]
It's in Liviticus - a man or a woman who has a familiar spirt must be killed by stoning.
[/ QUOTE ]
Like I said, not in *my* Bible.

Just out of curiosity wouldn't the Orobouros menders notice players using the portal power from Cimerora anyway, along with a pre-council villain group who also appear to have gone back in time...
(Phew, visible spoiler avoided...)
Mind you I'm still trying to figure out how the 'Pocket D' teleport and 'Call' contacts on their (mobile/cell)phones still work from there and how the Cimerora mission givers seem to have cellphones, surely the 'Call' roman mission givers should be replaced with 'Summon Runner' which summons a roman herald who fades in, runs up to you, pauses, then runs off and fades out.

Yeah - being able to ring Marcus in Cimerora is weird - espcially if you're not even in the zone
I think it would have been ok if they made it so that you had to go to him each time - the zone's not that big, and it wouldn't have been too much trouble to return to him eahc time.

That one is actually explained if you talk to the midnighter near the ourb crystal at Cimerora. They're using magic to allow you contact people there. So in this case, it's a sort of a documented "a wizard did it"

This thread is hopelessly derailed by completely off-topic discussion on multiple topics that simply do not belong on this forum (or any forum here, for that matter).
I'm going to close the thread, however anyone who wants to continue the discussion of the original topic raised by Dante should feel free to start a new thread.
As a general warning and reminder: if I wasn't feeling refreshed and generous after a wonderful holiday, I would be sending several people warnings about posting off-topic spam. The volume of spam in this thread is far too excessive.
GG, my 'Summon Runner' would be a fix for contacting Marcus et al, as no matter which (present day earth) zone you were in you'd get a roman herald (messenger) appear.
Maybe not when you were in Orobouros though.
Calling contacts outside the zone should be blocked with a mission style 'No signal' message when not in a present day earth based zone, such as: Cimerora, Orobouros, Preatorian Earth, Shadow Shards and Pocket D.
