Well seeing that Total Focus is now a Mag3 Stun imagine my surprise when checking out some numbers using the in game data that the Blaster version still has a Mag 4 Stun listed.

Text error or has it fallen off the list?

I can't find the source but i remember castle saying that he forgot about the blaster version and it will be changed soon.

This TF nerf makes no sense. Especially for blasters. Why the hell would they change the mag of it? For PvP, I mean who even has mag 3 stun prtection? Noone as far as I know. So basically they want to stop you stunning bosses with TF. Whats the point? It worked perfectly for 11 issues. Now, i really dont feel comfortable takin on mezzing bosses with my favourite blaster. Dont get me wrong Im sure Id have no problems taking them down, But I used to pop PB BU AIM, fly in fast, TF BS, then move back to blast from range. Now I wont be getting close to anything. If there gonna break TF like this I really think they should raise the mag of the power stun from 3 to 4.

Also I would love to hear the reasoning behind the TF change. None of the buffs or nurfs in this game have really bothered me much as I could see reasoning behind them, but this has really [censored] [censored] me off.

Not impressed at all devs......

Altough it was a nerf to all versions of TF, i can see them justifying this change to blasters (who suffer most from the lack of ability to inst-stun bosses) by arguing that it helps bring the set more in line with the mezzing potential offered by other blaster secondaries. Obviously the dev's reasons are their own, but this is what first came to my head when i saw the change.

Edit: I think a nice balance would be to shorten the animation for stun. That would mean that you could still stun bosses with TF if you followed it up quickly with stun. This would keep it inline with other sets and allow survivability.

The mag is reduced to 3 because there are 3 other stun powers in the set which stack for it, plus Power Boost which doubles the duration of all of them, alowing for a much higher potential mez mag than any other blaster secondary.

Controllers don't have a 100% chance of one shot mezzing a boss, why should blasters?

Don't be silly... It's now the same mag as the Peacebringer version of TF, whilst still doing more damage than it; and *I* can quite happily do what you describe on my PB, even to elite bosses. You may not get the stun, but it will still knock several types of hell out of their HP.

VERY impressed with the devs. Well done.

Anyone complaining of an unjustified nerf should look at, or ideally, play, other sets.

Yeah the thing is - a Peacebringer has two self heals, a self res and better all round damage resistance over a Blaster. That'll be why it does less damage.

keldians have fewer hp than a blaster, keldian res shields are worthless without mez protection, and keldians do less than half as much damage. And they don't have any highly stackable mezzes.

They still have better tools to aid survival than a Blaster does by design.

Perhaps, but it also takes twice as long for a Kheldian to take out a Boss than it does a blaster. It's all relative, you know, and if I can do it on my PB, without using my self heals, then a blaster can do it faster.
