Beginers Fire/Kin build
take hover and love it its way better damage mitgation than tough.

Before family got nerfed i did the family farm in 10-11 minutes 6 man spawn solo, not exactly slow is it now TG?
[/ QUOTE ]
Average, get it down to 6-7mins then it isnt slow.
SRM, i'd like to see who ever does this solo 6 man spawn in 6-7 minutes please.

Does hot feet work while using hover though?
CJ would IMO be a better option, plus it has Immob protection.

It does if you toggle it on before using Hover.
Hover + 2-3 stacked Siphon Speeds = win!

You ask for constructive input and then just disagree with everything that differs from your idea of a build.
There is no "I WIN" in this game,if you want that go play a normal PC game and use cheat codes.
Not everyone farms, most ppl play for fun !!!!
A multiplayer game and you are doing 6 man solo spawns lmfao

This is a farming build drednaught, just get off my posts <removed>

In that case pls explain why the word "farm" does not appear anywhere in your original post.
Are we all expected to be mind readers now?
All my chars are magic origin but hey it's only make believe you understand.
Funny, everyone else managed to work it out, and i think i mentioned it somewhere, <removed>

I'm just looking out for the new people who may see your post and think it's a "beginers" build when it is clearly not.
At least edit it and state that it is a farm build that needs a lot of inf to make.

Drednaught may use harsh language but he's still right (for the most part anyway ) as was said before. You don't seem to be very interested in taking some criticism.
SingStar:
"Extremists LOVE to fish to get us annoyed so we break the forum rules."
CRACK68:
"The origin of life wasn't planned either, should all life be declared a bug and wiped out?"
Lionsbane:
"You know me.Ever the realist"
I like criticism, when it is put in a nice way, and a way i would LIKE to read, i'm not gonna be interested in what you say if you do it the way <removed> did. <remove>

Its not fast. Its average due to it being average. Also is not versatile to farm a variety of mobs.Like SRM said 6-7 minutes is what i would consider fast based on the average times we cleared maps.
If the build works for you all fine and well. But is not a build i would recommend to a beginner to make or anyone looking for an efficient and cheap farm build. There are better options in my opinion and experience only of course.
I dont feel tactics is a must i hit without it, then again i dont farm anything with defense or tohitdebuffs.
I've always used hover to farm and i love it because you can hover just above their heads and theyre forced to range you :P.
On my old Fire/Kin/Fire build that I made for farming I could complete the family mish 6-spawned in about 8 minutes solo, I had no IO sets or anything, just normal level 50 IOs and a KB res IO (and I agree with the IO sets being used in the build is too much, since I could pull off farming with no set bonuses at all)
I have edited several posts in this thread.
Please see the post that has been made in the Announcements forum this afternoon.
Also, please note that inviting other forum members to quit and/or go play another game, or similar comments, are not valuable contributions to this forum and are covered in the forum rules.
Another very expencive build
he's not done yet... not even lvl 50
but someday!

I hope this is not a build aimed for farming and its just for casual PvE cause thats an awful waste of cash there for a farming build

if you're refering to my build then it's for both farming and mishs, and yes it's alot of inf but tbh... what else are we gonna use inf for?
the sets are mostly for the +recharge to get flashfire back asap
and I should prolly say that to may way of thinking... IO sets is something you buy when you can afford it no need to get it all at once

Ah i see.I was just asking cause i was puzzled by some slotting but since its for missions too never mind all good.
Its a lot of inf indeed.Good luck with it
I think you can gain slots out of that build Elstrat. By not getting so in dubiously needed bonuses ie toxic, melee, ranged you can can afford recharge in the Imps. I say dubiously as I see things like weave slotted and needed for only that recharge bonus. To have weave running I'd of slotted it differently, differently because I wouldn't be looking at any power on its own but combined with others for a look at what the whole of the build does. Also on an attack that has more recharge than I need I try to get rid of it, an armour thats resistance is way over the top thru slotting I try to lower it. You have 44% of armageddons damage removed by ED and your 6 slotting it for 5% resistance to toxic for example. I didn't realize that resist to toxic was so damn important.
If your happy with it then fine but as an altaholic I would of palmed some of those enhancements to a toon that would of benefitted greater from them, maybe its something you thought about or don't need too I don't know. I've only mentioned a couple of things as I am damn tired and need my bed.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
I wonder when this thread went from being 'Beginners Fire/Kin Build' and became 'Play around in Mids and see what the most expensive build you can come up with is'...
Very few of the builds in this thread are actually beginners builds (even the one I posted (as LostNinja) isn't technically a beginners build) perhaps rtaher than saying what you would build if you had stupid amounts of inf people would be better off posting builds that they really did start off with before they used it to farm said inf. Or ask GR to change the title.
I didnt say you cant farm with that build but is slower compared to other builds for the same cash thats what i am saying (assuming people of equal skill play both builds)
Before family got nerfed i did the family farm in 10-11 minutes 6 man spawn solo, not exactly slow is it now TG?
