My claws / regen build. Suitable for pvp?
Hasten and Super Speed definitely need be taken a lot earlier.Also switch swift for hurdle.Moment of glory is next to useless in PvP from my experience.Try slotting some end mod sets in QR and stamina if you can.
Well claws is highly resisted like most scrapper s/l damage.But its for fun so hope you enjoy it
Must admit I wasn't too sure about MoG in pvp because of only being 15 seconds. But have found it quite usefull (in PVE) for regening my health if recon / dull pain are still recharging (though that doesn't happen much).
But thanks for the advice on taking hasten and ss earlier and also taking hurdle. Going to redo the build in mid's and see what I can fit where.
I find MoG a lil bit usefull actually on my spine/regen, considering the insane recharge it has now, makes a nice panic button. Even tho its very easy to hit past it gives nice res and it doesnt drop the health like before. and it recharges in like 1 min or so?gives a lil bit time for a heal to recharge(or just run and regen) and my spiney isnt even IO´d yet, so i find it usefull on ocations.

In team PvP situations im with you.
Soloing in zones, its useful as hell. For example, guessing when a kin is abut to syphon you, pop it, job done.
The other biggie people forget, is MoG has unyeilding stance properties, allowing you to run and smack bubblers/tk'ers

while mog IS alot more useful now, especially in zones, i wouldnt go as far as saying this. It depends on your primary, slotting and playstyle i suppose. My bs/regen doesnt have mog and will never get mog either, simply cause i cant fit it in as i have more useful (imo) powers to pick, like fear. For claws i suppose its more useful as youre generally in a fight longer than BS, and having that extra edge with mog makes a real difference. For the rest i agree with what has been said already

Its short duration mkes it useless now imo, the only reason I'd get mog would be to clutch in a lotg +rech if I had nothing else to get
I only use MoG when i dont have any heal upp, and running low on health, and with Io´s You can have MoG upp every 30-40 secs withs some nice +rech IOs/sets i reckon. So its not ENTIRELY useless like it was before.
But then again if run into a AT with slows and such, your dead anyway....
For me personally, MoG is the one power I would definitely do with out from the regen set, especially in PvP. I'd only use this as stated above, as a last chance to survive whilst waiting for instant healing etc to recharge....
On a side note, your build must have cost a fortune, with all those purple recipe sets you have....

I have quite a few chars, but my claws scrapper is by far my favourite. He may not be the best uber pvp set, but he is fun to play in PVE and PVP.
Plus my other 50's arn't too good in pvp either (set wise):
lvl 50 - Katana / Regen scrapper
lvl 50 - Empathy / Electric defender
lvl 50 - Energy Melee / Energy Aura Brute
lvl 50 - Fire / Kin Controller
io up the defender and play support that rocks :P.

I have to disagree with this, having experienced the new MoG for and against me. yes, it does have a short duration but with 3 rechs and IOs (if u go that way) u can make it come back in seconds
also, you can use MoG more creativly because of it shorter rech e.g your fighting a blaster, he pops aim + build up now here u can use MoG to soak the damage with its 75% resistance instead of taking full damage, thats just one example someone above alrdy mentioned another one
so, IMHO it is far from useless or just an IO placer if you use it creatively and invest some rech IOs
