coming to think of it.. TECHNICALLY my scrapper was a defiant original transferred to union.. so i suppose i can fight with him for defiant if need be

I doubt we can get a good team for defiant, let alone get to choose ATs... Besides...I thought everybody had moved to Union already..

Obviously some hint of sarcasm Hammer', , as seems to be some healthy signup numbers from Defiant in the thread already.

Are they all gonna be farmed to the hilt, hulked up IO'd toons... doubt it. We seem to be a little more worldly and chilled on that side .

But for a bit of a laugh and some fun in a big chaotic ruck, hell I'd probably even bring one of my gimpy toons for the laugh. We're a bit over the semi hard ons about hur hur our server's better isn't it? Sounds fun.

I don't know how to PvP. Plus, I hardly ever do.

Oh dear me, that was rather disappointing!

I advertised the event all day, even popping over to Defiant to advertise as well.
Seven people on in Atlas Park on Defiant, No replies to a challenge gone out over global channels, well... i say no replies - There was one which was "How about Bite me! " which was lovely from Defiant <laughs>.


Very surprised at the lack of interest in this one.
To his credit Jackal Ripper was the only villain who turned up.

I guess the event was poor because players:
a)couldn't make it due to RL committments - b) couldn't be bothered or c) Nobody had the melons to defend Defiants honor... I'm sure it can't be 'C' so lets see a rematch sometime!.
Unfortunately Jackal Ripper got a kill in before i arrived (but understandably) on entry he felt outnumbered and backed down.

I salute you Sir for making the effort.

Well if you don't play the game anymore then my guess is you will not have any influence on a rematch in the future.

Me too sadly. Though since Raz didn't turn up, i guess its ok.

Oh well,... nevermind.

I guess I'll wait till there is a massive organised effort or maybe some officially endorsed PvP zone battles that could potentially stir up some interest.

Till then I think I'll bound back into the loving embrace of my beloved Union. I know I can find regular PvP action there at least.

Seeing as the event actually became a huge dissappointment, I feel like this is partially my fault too since I also promised to come, but sort of forgot, but I will have to really prove that the PvP scene isnt entirely dead over here!

Right, I'll put a lot of effort to get this event started and also advertised over at the Defiant side, all I need now is onionites to appear in test too in these times.

Why I chose Thursday is because I feel like doing some PvP action pretty soon, and friday-sunday are the double xp days, so Thursday is Ideal!

I can guarantee you that on my own I already have about 3 people that I can guarantee will show up, Now I just need to do my thing and let Union get theirs people up :P

and about it saying "6/7pm" it means that it will probably start at 7 Pm, but I'll be gathering in the test server at 6 PM to start practising and let people set up their test server clients and so on.

Also: this going to be in RV as original post detailed?: If so the servers are going to have to take turns representing the roles of Good and Evil.

[Edit]: This doesn't necessarily have to be decided over one evening. It could be the servers representing Good Or Evil then swapping everyweek and a score kept.

RV? hmm, this didnt come to my attention, I was actually thinking more of a SG rumble where a Defiant Representant makes a "Defiant" SG and invites all Defiant players in it, then a Union player makes a "Union" SG and invites all the Union people into that one, then we go to the arena and do a huge SG Rumble ?

Of course, we could always just go to warburg..!
